Astrid's POV
After dropping Hiccup off I headed to the academy to see if the others had finished what I'd asked them to do.
Snotlout and Fishlegs were back from taking Echo and her dragon up to see Gothi, though they had stayed with Gothi.
Ruffnut was talking to Fishlegs and Snotlout, Snotlout saying something rude enough to earn him a punch in the face from Ruffnut.
Tuffnut was talking to Heather, deep in conversation, though every once in a while you could see Heather grin at one of Tuff's insane comments.
I walked over to Fishlegs, Ruff, and Snotlout, not wanting to disturb Tuffnut and Heather, who seemed to be hitting it off rather well.
"For the last time, Snotlout, Heather doesn't like you! She's hitting it off with my brother, and even if I don't like it, I'm not going to let you ruin it for him!" Ruff snapped.
"Is that why you're upset, Ruff?" I asked suspiciously.
"Upset? I'm not upset! My dopey brother can do and think whatever he wants! Valhalla will burn down before I begin to care if my dopey brother has feelings for someone."
I smiled, sensing the obvious jealousy of Ruff but still the protectiveness over the male twin.
Ruffnut continued to yell at Snotlout, meanwhile, I glanced at Tuff and Heather.
I needed to talk to Heather despite the fact that she was having a conversation with Tuff, so I walked over to where the two were talking.
"Astrid! What's up? Is Hiccup all right?" Heather asked as I walked over.
"He's resting, seems pretty bad if you asked me. I need to talk to you about something else, though." I said, thinking back to his knocked out shape sprawled across his bed.
"Oh, sure. Tuff, you don't mind, do you? We can finish talking later."
"No problem." He said, walking over to where his female twin stood.
I watched for a second more before Ruff hit Tuff in the face and knocked him to the ground, then decided to turn a blind eye.
"Sooo, you wanted to talk to me?"
"Ya know, I wouldn't have pegged you as a girl who would be interested in a guy like Tuffnut." I said coyly.
Heather blushed.
"Come on, Astrid. He's not that bad. He's really sweet when you get to know him. And, you know, when we were trapped in that cave and we were... talking... we both said some things that made me realize we weren't so different after all." She admitted, pulling out her ax and beginning to sharpen it.
"Alright, alright. I'll let it go... for now. That isn't why I came over here, anyway." I said.
"Well, then why did you come over here?"
