(possible Manga spoilers up until chapter 54)

"No! I don't want to!", Tsuki said defiantly.

"But you have to dear. You can't skip school forever. I understand how you feel but tomorrow you'll have to go again, I'm sorry but that's my final decision!", Hiyori tried her best to convince her daughter to go to school after almost a week of absence.

"But I'll be completely alone. I-If Rei isn't going to be with me, t-there is no one who would even notice if I was there. What's the point of going then?"

One thing was for sure, Tsuki did not want to go back to school. Her only friend was lost, how was she supposed to live a normal school life now? Knowing that she lived a lie for years.

"Please Tsuki", Yato also tried his best to convince their daughter, "School is important for you. You can't quit because of this. I know it's a hard time and the situation is bad but you can't throw your future away because of it."

A pouty expression on her face, the blue eyed girl sat down on the couch, crossing her arms and looking away from her parents.

Both, Yato and Hiyori let out a sigh. How could they get through to her?

"Tsuki, listen. Right now it may seem impossible that things will get better but they will! You just have to stop shutting yourself in", Yukine also joined the convince-committee.

She looked up and into Yukine's warm eyes

"B-But what if Rei is going to be there?"

This was a good point. Even if Yato thought that it would be unlikely, there was a possibility that his father would be at school as well.

"Then how about I'll go with you?", Yukine asked, catching everyone's attention, "I mean it's not like anyone would notice me and you wouldn't be alone that way. I know that I haven't done much those last few days to cheer you up and I feel bad about it. I just didn't have any idea what I could do and that made me feel so helpless. But now it feels like this is the way I can support you. Please let me be there for you, I want to be your strength! Like a real big brother."

Hiyori and Yato were standing next to each other, covering their mouths with their hands and looking at Yukine all teary eyed like the proud parents they were.

"YUKINEEEEEE! You are such a great big brother, I'm so proud of you kid!", Yato said, hugging his Shinki.

Hiyori also joined the hugging and caused the young boy to blush like a tomato.

"H-Hey, s-s-stop it y-you t-two! W-What's gotten i-into you?", Yukine asked, struggling in their grip.

Tsuki was glad.

Glad that Yukine wanted to be there for her. He meant so much to her, even though they only knew each other for such a short amount of time.

The young girl joined her parents in hugging Yukine, and making him blush even harder but after a little more time of struggling he also returned the show of affection.

Yato told Yukine to call him if anything should happen and to be careful in case his father should actually show up.

His Shinki assured him that he would take good care of Tsuki.
