"Sekki. I hereby release you ... of the name I've bestowed upon y-"

"DON'T!"

Hiyori gripped Yato's hand instinctively to prevent him from continuing what he was about to do, not exactly knowing what she was trying to accomplish.

"Don't release him!", she begged,

"I don't have another choice! If I don't, there is no saving him! I have to."

"B-But", she stammered.

Tsuki knelt next to her father and listened to her parents. There was no way they would get out of this situation safe this time the way it sounded to her.

She looked over to the thing that used to be her big brother and tears were appearing in her eyes.

He had promised to be there for her.

As a family.

That thing wasn't Yukine. That wasn't her big brother but rather a shell of negative emotions and anger that threatened to devour him completely.

"I know how you feel! I feel angry too. But we can't let that get the best of us, you hear me?"

That's what he had told her.

Now it was her turn to make him remember.

She stood up and ran until she was almost in reach of him. She couldn't get to him directly because there was a strange aura surrounding him, making her hair and her clothes fly back and forth as if a storm was about to come.

A thunderstorm was also building up right above them making the dark sky grumble threatening.

She held her right arm in front of her head to shield her eyes from flying particles in the air and slowly approached her big brother.

"YUKINE!", she screamed, "PLEASE STOP THIS!"

"TSUKI!", Hiyori screeched, only now noticing that her daughter was getting herself into a life threatening situation.

While she was discussing with Yato, none of them had noticed that Tsuki left and now all they could do was sit there and watch how their little girl bravely fought for her big brother.

Tsuki ignored her parents shouts and continued on her way.

She was almost there and Yukine had started to growl, clenching his sharp teeth that let out threads of spit.

His eyes were full of hate and anger and the young girl wanted to help him the same way he had helped her.

"Big Brother! Do you remember what you told me the other day when I acted out and attacked Rei? You told me that we shouldn't let the anger get the best of us!"

The Ayakashi raised his claw once again, slowly this time as if to land an even stronger hit. Tsuki used that time to get even closer and continued:

"You told me that I wasn't acting like myself! And you were right! That wasn't me! That was the anger that was taking over! Same goes for you! THAT is not who you are! That's just the anger. Don't let it destroy who you are! Because you are the greatest person that I know! I looked up to you ever since I first met you and dad on the street! You cheered me up so many times when I felt down. You helped me with my studies! You are going to school with me so I won't be alone, so please! Please stop being angry and be my big brother again! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!"

She was now close enough to touch him. She reached out to touch the area where his name used to be in means to make him remember who he was.

In that moment something that could be considered a miracle happened.
