5 years later....
A police officer was working the night shift at Gotham City Hall. The main door suddenly burst open. A set of vigilantes paraded in with guns pointed at everything. The police officer tried his best to stop them but received a bullet in his head. The six of them busted open a door that led down to the mayor's office. They continued forward but as they were walking, a sensor detected their movement and sealed the door to the mayor's office shut. "Get it open." One of the robbers ordered.
Another one, which had a saw blade said, "On it." He walked over to the door and began unlatching it with the blade.
"You think he's gonna show?" A different robber asked.
"He'll bring the whole goddamn place down." Another robber interrupted.
"Stay focused." The leader of the robbers instructed. "We'll be out of here before anyone can stop us."
Meanwhile, the police had shown up due to a nearby citizen informing them. Lieutenant James Gordon stepped out of one of the police cars. He commanded his officers to secure the area and head inside the administration building. Gordon walked inside and noticed the dead officer who was working the shift at the time with a bullet in his head. Gordon cursed. "Christ. Move in!" His officers continued in after being given the word. The police officers came to elevators eventually and pressed the button to go up to the floor that included the mayor's office. Back with the robbers, one of them dropped a bomb on the top of the elevator causing the shaft to fall down rapidly. Gordon realized this just in the nick of time and yelled at his officers to move back. The shaft reached the bottom with a deafening slam. Gordon suddenly was messaged on his radio from Batman.
"They're on the 52nd floor. I'm going in."
"Wait! Wait for backup!" Gordon yelled into the radio.
"Don't need it." Batman replied.
"Take the stairs." Gordon directed his officers.
Back with the robbers, one of them spoke. "I heard stories you know. Sent three home in an ambulance. The rest in body bags."
"No wonder the cops want him dead. You ever seen him?"
"Yeah, Gotham Zoo. With all the other flying animals."
Batman, who was hanging on a nearby building, shot his grapple gun onto the stone above a set of windows on the 52nd floor of the city hall. Batman then jumped off the building he was hanging on and crashed through the window, kicking one of the robbers down. The robber stood back up and aimed his gun at Batman. Batman quickly punched the robber in the face. Batman then hid. "The hell'd he go?" A robber asked the leader.
"Whatever got in...don't let it get out." The leader said. His acquaintances started searching around the office they were in. Batman swiftly ran to another location behind one of the robbers that was searching.
"What was that?" The same robber asked as he heard quick movement behind him. He slowly walked to the spot where he thought the sneaky individual was. Instead of finding Batman, he discovered the teammate that Batman had punched, tied up in a chair. "Huh?" He asked as he began untying his tied up partner. Batman was secretly behind him and shot his grapple gun onto the robber's ankle and dragged him down the elevator shaft. Batman got onto the ceiling and promptly pulled up the tied up robber with one of his gadgets.
"Back to back, circle up!" The leader enjoined. The three robbers stood in a circle, their guns aimed directly in front of each of them. Batman then dropped a smoke bomb and it exploded into a cloud of vapor. The robbers coughed as they unintentionally breathed the smoke in. Batman secretly picked up two more robbers and tied them to the ceiling, both their mouths forced shut. The leader appeared to be the only one left besides the robber who was breaking open the door. The leader ran over to the other robber, frightened. He shot his gun everywhere, hoping that one of his bullets would hit Batman. They didn't and Batman dodged each and every bullet that came at him. He threw a bat-a-rang at the leader's gun which stopped it from shooting. Batman jumped down from the ceiling and stood in the distance surrounded by his smoke clouds. The leader viewed him as menacing as he saw his captured buddies hanging in all sorts of ways beside Batman. The leader yelled, "Come at me! Come on!" He fired bullets from his backup pistol as he yelled this. Batman blocked all the bullets with his new and improved bullet reflector gear on his arms. He jumped in the air and kicked the leader in the face. The other robber jumped out of the way as the leader smashed into the almost pried open door. Batman knocked the pistol out of the leader's hands and collided he leader's face with the door. The leader cursed in agony and pain. The leader got up from the ground and cursed once more at Batman. Batman darted all the blows that the leader attempted to give him. Batman finally was able to strike the leader so hard in the face that he broke a part of the leader's mask that was made of a metallic material. Batman then shot his grapple gun at the door behind the leader and he swung forward kicking the leader into the door, opening it. Batman then smashed the leader's face onto the mayor's desk. The leader fell to the ground. Batman then looked up and saw a woman dressed in a black leather suit with pink goggles on with a whip attached on her side.
