Batman changed in the Batmobile to become Bruce Wayne. Once he was fully dressed, he exited the vehicle quickly and transformed it back into his regular sports car. He then stepped foot into the bar, The Stacked Deck, late for a meeting he had planned earlier in the week. As soon as he stepped inside, the bartender, Anna gave him a dirty look. "Why the hell are you here? After what you did in my bar? I would kick your ass out of here if I was the manager." Anna declared.
"I'm just here for a meeting. It shouldn't take too long. Then I'll be out of your hair? Alright?" Bruce replied.
"Fine. Make it quick." Anna rolled her eyes, crossing her arms. Bruce looked around in the bar for the person he was going to be talking to. He noticed someone who looked to be in their late teens waving at him. That's him? Bruce thought to himself. Okay, here I go. Bruce walked over to the young adult and sat down at the table with him. He held out his hand.
"You're Bruce, right? Nice to meet you." The boy said as he shook hands with Bruce. "So what'll we be discussing? I hear you're looking for someone to back you up with what you do. What do you do, exactly?"
"Well, I'm kind of a big deal in Gotham. I'm a billionaire." Bruce explained.
"I have heard of you Mr. Wayne. What are you looking to get help with? I happen to be very talented from where I come from."
"Well, I've never told anybody this and I don't want to tell you this right off the bat. But I, Bruce Wayne, am Batman. I'm sure you've heard of him. I mean, everybody knows him in Gotham."
"You're Batman? Wow. Not surprised you're a big deal. Well, since you've shared your secret identity, I might as well share mine."
"Oh yeah, that's right. I never caught your name."
"Tim. Tim Drake. But, from where I'm from I'm known as Robin."
"Robin? Cool name."
"Thanks. Batman and Robin...seems to fit. Pleasure meeting you, I look forward to kicking ass with you in the future. Just let me know when you need me to come over to discuss further plans."
"I will. Should be in the next few days." Bruce got up from his seat and left the bar. Once he got back into his car, he checked his text from Alfred.
It read: "Everything all set?"
"Yep. Tim Drake is his name. But I have a feeling I will mostly be calling him by his alter ego, Robin." Bruce sent the text and drove off, with lots and lots of plans.
