"City Hall is in chaos after Mayor Hamilton Hill was confirmed dead. While several members of the Children of Arkham have been arrested, the Penguin is still at large." The news had said. It was the day after the debate and Bruce was in the batcave. Bruce had requested to acquire Penguin's mask and the syringe. Bruce held up the needle. Alfred muted the news channel.
"Harvey won't be the same after this." Bruce said to Alfred. Alfred ignored Bruce and unmuted the news channel.
"Meanwhile, the Wayne Family scandal continued to escalate after the full list of Thomas Wayne's victims was released to the public. Lawyers representing Bruce Wayne have no comment at this time." Bruce left the room, angered that people were trashing his family. He went into the guest room where Selina slept, soundly. Bruce sat down beside her. He held her hand.
"Selina. You awake?" Bruce asked but to no avail. She was fast asleep. Or so he thought. Bruce got up and walked out of the room, heading to his room to take a nap. Selina then opened her eyes as soon as he left the room. She stared at the photo that showed young Bruce with his parents. She stared at it for a long five minutes. She finally grew tired and actually fell asleep.
