Chapter Twelve

Summer's POV

I walked to school with Tomika. Even thought she's dating Zack, I will always hate her. Not because I'm jealous of Zack. Or whatever.

Once we got in, we started setting up for band practice.

"Summer, please pass me my drumsticks." Freddy asked me. I quickly did what he asked. Once I gave them, I kissed his cheek.

I kissed my Freddyboo!!

I went back to fixing the microphone.

Freddy's POV

BLAH!! Summer kissed my cheeks! Imagine that was Tomika. Imagine that was Tomika. Imagine that was Tomika. Imagine that was Tomika. Imagine that was Tomika.

BLAH! I have to get use to her kisses. Because I am da-day-dude-doo-dale-dat (Imagine she's Tomika. Imagine she's Tomika.) dating her.

I started tightening the screws of my drum set. "Hey Jonesy." Tomika said as she walked up to me with her bass on her hands.

I smiled at her. "Hey Tomika." I said. Are you ready to practice?" She asked, I nodded.

I just love her so much.

If only she was mine.

"Okay guys! Let's start!" Mr. Finn said once he got in. He closed the door and we started with the practice. As I played I looked at Tomika. She's beautiful.

Summer's POV

LIFE. I watched as Freddy played the drums. Why do I feel so weird about you? Why do I feel so weird about Zack?

Shrug it off. Shrug it off.

"Summer!!" I heard a shout everyone stopped what they were doing. Their in front of the door was the band... Night Lizard.

"Where is you're brother." Justin said. Everyone was in shock. "In school." I said as everyone was still in shock. "Okay. Thanks kiddo." He said and the Night Lizards left.

"Was that Night Lizard?!" Zack asked surprised and shocked. "Yes. Yes it was." I said. "How come they were nice?!" Everyone asked. I shrugged. "I'll tell you."

"My bro and Justin are best friends. My brother is a part of Night Lizard. He was just not in The Battle of The Bands and Auditions because it was exam month in his school." I said.

Everyone was shocked. "You have secrets!!" Everyone except Zack shouted at me. I nodded. "Well. Um. Let's get back to practice!" Mr. Finn stated.

We went back to what we were doing before Night Lizard came.

And since I'm done listing. I'm just gonna go out. Why am I saying this in my mind when I can just go out.

I walked out and sat on the bench in front of our classroom. "Hey." I looked up and saw Zack.

"Aren't you suppose to be practicing?" I asked a little irritated. Because he somehow always ends up next to me or cheering me up.

"Aren't you suppose to be inside watching? It's the drum solo." He said forming a smirk. "Okay fine. We're fair." I said and rolled my eyes.

He sat next to me. "How's your relationship with Fredrick?" He asked. "Great. How's your's with Tommy?" I asked. "It's great like yours." He said.

And then. Their was in awkward silence.

Tomika's POV

After Freddy's solo. We stopped and took a break. But something was missing... ZACK!!

I walked out to see Zack and Summer sitting on the bench talking. "Hey." I said walking in front of both of them.

"Hey Tommy." Summer said, "Hey T." Zack said. "What're both of you doing?" I asked curiously. I mean come on. My boyfriend sitting next to my best friend. "Just chilling." Zack said.

"Wanna sit with us?" Summer asked. "Sure." I said and sat in between them. "Hey." We looked up to see Freddy. He sat next to Summer and put his arm around her.

Sigh. Why can't you do that to me Zack? I looked at Zack who was looking at the classroom door. I looked down and sighed.

And then I felt an arm around me. I looked up and saw Zack. His arm was around me. He was looking at the classroom. Then he turned his head and smiled at me. I smiled back.

I love you Zack. I rested my head on his shoulder. I closed my eyes.

Even thought I still have little feelings for Zack. I'm forcing myself to love him so Freddy can love Summer.

Freddy's POV

Ugh! Zack how dare you put an arm around my Tomika! Actually. I think it's also my fault.

When I saw Tomika upset, I glared at Zack. Then he put his arm around her and they smiled at each other.

If Tomika's happy, I'm happy.

Then Summer rested her head in my shoulder. Sigh. I'm better of with being her friend. Not her boyfriend. I only love her as a friend.

Four of us stayed in our position for a while. Well, untilth Lawrence came in and called us. We all went inside the classroom.

While Mr. Finn was talking I was looking at Tomika. Her beautiful face. Why can't she be mine. I'm madly in love with her.
