I woke up confused about my life, but somehow happy about it too. I heard my phone vibrate against my baedside table and saw the red light flashing for text alert. Picking it up, I flicked through my texts to find the new one. It was Alex.

ALEX -- hey baby, still on for that movie later? And maybe something else afterwards? See you then.. A xxxxx

I smiled and set my phone back on my bedside table.

I had decided to go out with Alex and to be his girlfriend... again. We had been going out for a week now and everything was good. I have to admit that it hasn't been a easy week. When Seth found out he went balistic and won't talk to me. Also, two days after I started to go out with Alex, Seth started going out with Ella. I didn't care, but I wasn't too happy about it.

When Jake found out he didn't take it too well and went MIA for a few days and is still gone to calm down. He went to out aunts house for the last three days to keep him from punching Alex's face in. But he left Lily too, he and Lily told everyone that they were an item a day after me and Alex got together. We told them that me and Alex were together two days after they coupled up.

Being as I am on a Saturday, I usually sleep in til nine. But seeing as it was the easter holidays, yes that's right, two weeks of no school. I had decided to add an extra couple of hours of sleep. So it was eleven.

I quickly text back Alex with okay and lots of xxxx's. I lifted up the covers and swung my legs over the side of my bed and ruffled my hair with my hand. Satnding up and walking over towards my dresser I picked out my dark blue high-waisted jeans, a loose white vest tucked into my jeans, my gladiator sandles and my jet black leather jacket.

Drawing a line of eyeliner on my bottom of my eye and then a liquid line on the top. A bit a mascara and pale pink lip gloss and I was ready to go. I checked my phone for messages and missed calls seeing as my phone was on silent. Four missed calls, one new message and two new voicemails. One from Alex, Lily and mum, and the other from Jake.

I quickly dialed seven eight nine for my voicemail service and followed the options til I played the two messages...

MESSAGE ONE, FROM..... ALEX SMITH:: hi baby, I thought we'd go see The Woman In Black at three and will meet you outside the cinema. See you later, love you.

I smiled after I heard that and then moved onto the next message afterwards.

MESSAGE TWO, FROM.... JAKE COOPER:: hey Jess, I just thought I'd ring to let you know what was happening and that I'm gonna be home in four days and Lily already knows cause I'm ringing her afterwards. So, yeah, that's it. Bye, see you on wednesday....

I played it over one more time to make sure I was hearing right. Wednesday, I have to organise something. Or atleast get a banner, some friends around and some food. I dialed his number and waited for him to pick up on the other line.

BEEP BEEP .... BEEP BEEP ..... BEEP BEEP .... BEEP BEEP ..... BEEP

'Hello?' I heard on the other line.

'Hey Jake, it's Jess....' I carried on to say.

We talked for two hours about everything. It was the first time that we'd ever been honest with each other. We talked about Lily, general life, Alex ( I brought him up ), and he brought up Seth and asked how he was. He was obviously drinking or eating something at the time when I said that Seth and Ella were a 'thing' because I think I heard him choke a little.

I stared up at the ceiling and made a mental list of who to invite to Jakes coming home do on Wednesday. I thought of...

I re-thought that last one and wasn't sure. But if I invited him then he would bring Ella along and it wouldn't go down to well. Some of the people I thought up were Jakes rugby pals, others were his friends in general and the rest were cousins and family members. I brang up a text, adding all the contacts on the recipiants and sent:

Jakes coming home do, wednesday, starts at three and ends later on... Jessie :)

I prssed sent and wired it out to all of the contacts on my mental list. Well, almost everyone. Everyone apart from the last one.

I left my phone on the side and shut my eyes for about five seconds before it was vibrating non-stop. I snatched it up eagerly and flicked through the reccent texts to see who had replied. So far it was Lily, Alex, Percy, Al, Mike, Natasha, Danny, Ben, Charlie, Aaron and Fleur who had replied and said they were  

coming.

I flicked through the others and saw ones from Drew, Thomas, Nathan and Zoe asking if they could bring a plus one with them. I saw no problem with it and agreed.

I set it down on the side again to lay on my back a stare at the ceiling for a bit. I shut my eyes and fell asleep before you could say 'look! There's a moving tree!!'

I know!!!! It's short and crappy!!

But I thought that it's better than no upload at all right??? Maybe...?

Has anyone actually seen the woman in black?? It's scary and jumpy... I highly reccoment it for all those who can get into a 12a. Which is pretty much everyone with an adult. But it's good and it's got a good ending, well I liked it at least......

My friend was crying by the end of it because she was so scared and during the film she tried to hid behind her jacket that has holes in it.... Not a smart move :P

I'm rambling a bit too now!! Buttt.... What do you think?
