chapter six::

 Well that was a blast from the past that i really didn't need, I had only just got together with Seth and I wasn't going to let Alex or anyone else stop me from what i want to be doing.

I walked off towards the english block to just see jake coming out of the humanities block which was just opposite the english block as i was passing.

'Hey sis, you ok?' he asked as i carried on walking with my head hung down low without a sound.

'Hey hey hey .. are you ok?' Jake said as he was now jogging up to me with his bag on one shoulder and his study books in his opposite arm. I stood there and slowly raised up my head and almost started crying.

'What the matter? Have you had another argument with Lily? You know that its most of your arguments turn out to be good and then you get back to being best friends like always. Apart from that time with the rotten eggs and the gone off milk,' He said trying to cheer me up. It really didn't seem to be working very well as tear started to stream down my face.

'It's Alex,' I said through my tears as Jake pulled me into a tight hug that i think almost may have stopped me breathing.

'He came up to me and said that he wanted to forget the whole speech that he gave in year 7 about not caring about me and stuff. And i told him to stuff it and i threw his apology back in his face,' I said with a tense tone in my voice. I buried my face into his neck and after a few minutes lifted my head and saw that Jake had wet patches with black marks on his white shirt.

'Sorry!' I said meaningfully. He had the look of anger in his eyes and I knew that look from back when i was in year 7.

Flashback ::

I came out of round the music block with tears running down my face, then i bumped into a familiar figure. Jake. He was with all of his friends joking around and I didn't think that he understands how I feel ever though hes like 2 years older than me.

'Hey whats up?' He jokes around. He was so obviously drunk too.

'Just leave me alone!' I shouted as I started to walk away from him, I heard foot-steps behind me, running up towards me.

'Jess! Jessie! wait! You know that I can't run well enough to catch up with anyone when I a bit tipsy,' He said as he rested his arm on my shoulder as he started panting and gasping for air.

'I thought that I told you to leave me alone,' I shouted as I knew that he other-wise wouldn't e able to hear me properly.

'Seriously though, what is up? I saw you walking towards me with tears down your face and you seemed ipset but by looking at you now I wouldn't say seemed, I would now say that you are,' He said in slurred speech. He was only 14 and he was drunk in the middle of school, he was so gonna get caught.

'Great obvservation Dr. Pea brain.' I said giving him the cold shoulder and walking off. I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned to see that Jake was still following me.

'Jessie, I'm being serious. I want to know what happened and who did this and most importantly, who is to blame,' He said from about 3 inches away from my face.

'It's alex. He said that he doesn't care about me anymore and that he would rather be with a whore in a brothel than be with me and after he sent me that note, I thought that he did really care about me. But obviously, he was just a jerk trying to hide who he really was under all of that fake armour and hard shell. He's just a coward and he knows it.' I said it all so fast that as soon as I finished, Jake walked away from me with that sudden angery look on his face. He started to fast walk around to the music block, which was where Alex was.

'You son of a bitch, lying little leech that has a hard exterior thats about to be broken!' Jake shouted towards Alex's direction. And then before I knew it, there was a full on fight between Alex and Jake.

'You are a low life peice of scum that needs to be taught a valuble lesson on how to treat people and easpecially girls a little bit more respect!' Jake shouted in his face as he climbed on top of him to punch the living day-lights out of him. I've never seen him so angry before in my life.

~~END OF FLASHBACK~~

'No! Jake, NO! This can't happen again, you can't get suspended for this again! You won't get into college and sure as hell not university!' I shouted as I looked behind me to see a few little year 8's behind us, easpdropping into our little family dispute.

He turned to look at me and i grabbed his face and pulled him into yet another hug as I saw Alew walk off towards the science holding his black jacket in one arm and his opposite hand in his pocket.

He looked at me with a smirk and i let go of Jake and walked through to the science block enterance where Alex had just walked through.

'Hey Jessie! Where are you going?? Jake shouted after me. But i didn't take any notice of him and i carried on walking towards the science block to talk to Alex and he was get it in the neck so bad too.

'Hey! Hey! Hey Jackass!' I shouted at Alex and he stopped in his tracks and twisted back on his feet to look at me with astonished disgust on his face.

'Jackass?!?!' he shouted back.

'Yeah, Jackass. You are the same slimy little peice of sh!t that hurt me all those years ago and i'm not gonna let you do that again and if you can't get that through your thick head then i'll just make you feel the way that i did and furthermore ...' I was cut off half way through my rant by Alex smashing his lips into mine as soon as some footballer walked around the cornor to see us snogging in the middle of the the corridor and then he had a quick glance and walked away. Then Alex pulled back and obviously saw the stunned look on my face.

'I never stopped loving you, I had to say those things because of your brother. He told me that if i didn't stay away from you then he would beat me up.' I was shocked by this revelation.

'But why would he do that?? He knew that I was happy with you, so why would he try and ruin that for me?' I said back to him. He hung his head low.

'It's because i've hurt people in the past and he thought that i was gonna hurt you. But now that you know how i feel, do you wanna give it a go??' He asked. I thought that he'd never ask that in a million years.

'I can't, I'm with Seth now and i have to admit that i'm pretty happy right now and i can't ruin that. It turns out that he got in there before you anyway. There will always a place in my heart for you and you know that.' He was holding my hands during this little scene and he let go as i finished my converstion.

'That's alright. I know that you must be confused too. I'll see you around.' An with that he turned round to walk towards P.E.
