Like The ugly duckling
Like me
We were despised
Cause we were ugly
Cause we had red noses
Cause we were different
We were accepted
Only when Saint Nick came
Only when we became swans
Only when we were famous
We were broken
We were mended
We were trapped
And yet, sometimes
We wish we could be
Just like the other fairytale characters
But we know
Even if we end up in that land
It will never ever
Be a happy ending
