Closure

Based on the book, "Mockingbird", by Kathryn Erskine

She said she would find closure

where she would have happiness at the event of depression

And I feel the emotionless eyes that hung off of the engraved scout

Those little numbered locks of black white numbers

And her eagle chest that she painted gleamed with pride

The tears that gave way as she curled her purple fleece blanket

Dictionary the pinned to her chest as she cried a million stars

Her heart was swollen and broken and mended again

She found her closure in the song of a sacred ritual

But me, I never found it
