Smiles tugged at my lips
when I saw you for the first time
You gave light to my eyes
So that I could see the whole world
You lost me in that smile
Where I dreamed of sunset moons
We would laugh in universes
When that was a dream
I would have held you close
And I would feel that uneven ridge
But I never fell off
Because it was your smile
That kept me holding on
