Hi I am Silver Moon
I am not full, I am half
My missing part, I don't know
The sun should be there
I try to find him, to make me whole
Yet I stay there floating in the night
The twinkling stars to keep me awake
Their shiny eyes full with hope
But they are whole and I am not
The sun, I glimpsed him one night
His shine floating away
My craters cry rivers as I run
I try to go faster, fast as the wind
My rocks carrying my heart
But he, he runs faster
His glowing mane of golden streams
I scream and yell
My brain is racking
But he runs, farther away
Until he is the only one in the light
And I Silver Moon, I am alone again
