Icicles

6 2 2

Little cool sparks as they patter down on your skin

Tiny, clear raindrops, cubes of ice

Icicles remind of what the world used to be

So simple, so sharp

And when perish reigns, they shatter,  crashing to the ground

Each crystal falling at your feet

Like hail storms, like glass pain

Mirrored reflections, so unreal

Cuts, blood, deep gashes

Just as all the wounds bound together

In a single transparent shard
