Sometime before chapter 6, Pre-relationship. Chrom
"What's going on in there?" Anna asks as she hears a loud crash inside the alchemy tent.
I shrug "I don't know. But I think it may be best we don't find out." I say.
Anna turns to me, and nods "Agreed."
We eat lunch, and then we enter the center of the camp, where some of the Shepherds are gathered, interacting with each other. I smile. I always love watching my men get along...
Just then Lissa and Ricken run into the center of camp "You are never gonna believe this!!! I made a potion!!!" Lissa exclaims.
Everyone steps back a little bit. "Is that what all that crashing was?" Anna asks. I snicker under my breath.
Lissa glares at me. "Well... with a lot of help, materials, and emotional trauma, she managed to make a health potion!" Ricken says.
"I wonder who the poor soul is that has to test it." I whisper in Anna's ear. She giggles.
Lissa turns her head up "Hmph! Well, you may just be looking at a great alchemist in the making! Just you wait!" Lissa flings her arms out, and the potion flies out of her hand,
And hits Anna.
A huge cloud of smoke that smells like fish surrounds her, and she coughs uncontrollably.
"Anna! Are you ok?!" I frantically ask, trying to pin-point her in the smoke. There's no reply, but I do hear... the meow of a cat?
The smoke clears, and standing where Anna was, is a small tabby cat with light blue fur and darker blue stripes.
"Oh... my gods..." I stammer, staring at, uh, Anna?
Anna shakes her little head, and gets a surprised look on her kitty face. She lift up each one of her legs, and looks around at her new body.
I duck down, and pick up the cat "Lissa... what did you do?!" I ask.
Lissa laughs nervously "Ohhhhh... um, oops! It musta been a... cat potion... my bad!" She chirps.
Anna's face twists to an angry one, and she hisses, wiggling around in my grasp.
I frown at Lissa "Liss! You are going to figure out how to fix this! Now! That's an order!" I command.
Lissa groans "Alright! Alright! I'll find a way to fix this! But honestly, I think we should keep Anna like this! She much more quiet! And cute!" Lissa jests.
Anna raises a paw, and unsheathes her claws.
Lissa backs up "Ok, geez! I was just kidding! I'll fix it! I promise! Let's go Ricken." She says, Ricken following.
I sigh, and place Anna on my shoulder "Usually I'd make her do this alone, but gods know she'll just make the situation worse on her own." I say. Anna makes a low growling noise from her throat, and flattens her ears. I reach up and scratch her ear, making her purr. I chuckle.
Miriel follows Ricken and Lissa's trail, and turns back to us "I suggest you keep an eye on her, captain. If she gets lost, or hurt, bad things could happen. Just keep constant watch on her, and she'll be fine." She says, walking off.
I turn to Anna "Well, there go our normal plans for the day!" I jest. She just lays on my shoulder and growls lazily.
...
I lean against the tree that Anna and I were under, and I laugh as Anna jumps around and paws at a cattail I found to entertain her with. "You know, for a human, you really are acting like a cat!" I say.
Anna turns to me, growls, and sticks out her tongue. I laugh. I look up at the sun, which is currently setting. "Huh... they've been at it for awhile now... I wonder when they'll be back?" I ask.
Anna stops jumping around, and drops her ears, looking sad. I feel sympathy towards her, and pull her into my lap, "Hey, it's going to be ok! They'll think of something! I can promise you that!" I say reassuringly.
She stares up at me, and pokes my nose with her paw. I laugh "Haha! Lissa was right! You really are cute like this!" I say. Anna turns her head away sheepishly, I'm guessing that's her way of blushing.
I pet her soft fur, and smile. She yawns, and so do I. I guess I didn't really realize how tired I was... and so did Anna apparently! She curls up in my lap, and closes her eyes.
I lean further on the tree, and close my eyes as well. Petting Anna the whole time.
...
"I'm back?! I'm back!" Anna exclaims as she looks at her normal self in a mirror.
I smile, and let out a sigh of relief "And thank the gods! I was afraid you would remain a cat for the rest of the week!
Anna was a cat, for 5 days!
"I'm really sorry Anna! I truly didn't mean to turn you into a cat!" Lissa says.
Anna turns to her "Its ok Lissa. As long as you learned your lesson." She says, smiling.
I nod "Yes. Now, Lissa, you should probably stay away from alchemy, and let the professionals do it!" I say.
Lissa sighs "I know... I do t want to turn people into cats for five days!" She says.
Anna nods, and shutters "Yeah! It's terrible!" She says.
Lissa smirks "Oh really? Was it that bad? Well, you and Chrom didn't seem to mind curling up with each other every night!" She says.
We both blush "I was keeping an eye on her! I didn't want her to wander off when I was sleeping!" I say.
Lissa rolls her eyes "Oh, it didn't look like she wanted to escape!" She says.
Anna and I's blush deepen.
"LISSA!!!"

Yeah... this happened. Don't ask, I kept getting ideas of Anna turning into some random animal and Chrom would take care of her! Oatmeal. So yes, this happened. I might write another story later that DOESN'T involve Chrobin, or, well, Chranna. But it's really hard for me not to write Chrobin XD I hope you enjoyed this story, and you look forward to reading more, and have a nice day!
