「 Death Flags 」

Nakaupo naman si Neon sa isang tabi habang nakatingin sa kaniya si Kuro mula sa harap ng silid, halatang hindi makahinga nang maayos si Neon habang unti-unti siyang napapalibutan ng maiitim ng usok sa paligid.

“Kaya mo pa din ba?” Tanong ni Kuro sa kaniya.

“Y..Yes,” Tugon ni Neon at ngumisi “Anong tingin mo sa akin,Kuro? I can resist this.”

“Ewan,” Nab-bwisit na sabi ni Kuro sa kaniya habang hinawakan ang itim itong sumbrero “Paano kapag nagulo ang plano mo? The Phantom of Demise ruling the world plan is kind of unstable,you know..”

“Well, despair will not disappear if we’ll fail.. it will come back again and again,” Saad ni Neon “That is the sad truth about despair, being feared and avoided by people.”

“Yet you still continued your plan,” Sambit ni Kuro at napacross arms “Well, no matter what happens.. as a member of the cult, I will continue to serve you and will die along Madness’ end.”

“All of you will die if I will,” Saad ni Neon “That is what my power did to all of you.. starting from the higher ups and to my followers, all of you will die.”

“All of us.. are you even sure of that?” Tanong ni Kuro sabay ngumisi na mistulang may ipinapahiwatig.

Napaubo naman si Neon “M-Maybe not.. but a member of Madness wouldn’t be able to live happily as long as hope is reigning.”

Napairap na lang si Kuro bago inalalayan si Neon patungo sa dining room para kumain ito kasabay nila ni Shiro at Xero.

“Justin and Rinrin must’ve been busy taking care of their twins,” Natatawang saad ni Xero nang mapatingin sa dalawang bakante na upuan.

“Being a parent isn’t easy!” Saad naman ni Shiro “You have to make sure that their diapers had been clean, that they’ve drank their milks, that they’ve been bathed and not bored or else, they’ll cry.. and babies crying is one of the most annoying sounds that I’ve ever heard!”

“Shut it,Shiro. Hindi ka lang talaga sanay sa mga babies!” Pang-aasar ni Xero.

“You’re one to talk, babies are even crying just seeing you!” Pang-aasar pabalik ni Shiro.

“Stop bickering, dimwits!” Sita naman ni Kuro sa kanilang dalawa “Busy at their twins or not, I’m still not convinced that Rinrin should be trusted. She’s a girl filled with mischeif, I don’t know what’s inside her sleeves at all!”

“Probably candies?” Tanong ni Shiro.

“It was a phrase,dimwit! I’m saying that I don’t know what’s she planning at all!” Sigaw ni Kuro sa kaniya.

“I know, I know.. geez, calm down!” Natatawang saad ni Shiro bago mapatingin kay Neon “Lord Neon, how are you?”

“Obviously not fine,Shiro. Don’t talk to him, it’ll be a waste of his energy on replying back..” Malamig na utas ni Kuro.

“Don’t need to say that,Kuro. I’m.. still fine,” Saad ni Neon at pilit na ngumiti sabay napatingin kay Shiro “Thank you for your concern, Shiro.”

“Of course, you saved me before..” Saad ni Shiro “And I want to save you if ever you’re in pain or danger.”

“You’re a nice person, indeed..” Saad naman ni Neon bago mapagasp “I almost forgot, you’re sixteen now. Hindi ka pa nababaptismahan bilang miyembro ng Madness!”
