LUMIPAS ang isang taon, napakadaming nagbago. Lahat ng bansa ay nagawang makaahon mula sa trahedya na nangyari sa kanila, unti-unti nang nakakalimutan ang mga kagagawan ng Madness dahil sa sunud-sunod na magagandang pangyayari na nangyari sa buhay nila.

Naglalakad naman si Shiro sa isang tabi at napansin niya ang mga bulungan ng mga tao pati ang mga nasa balita.

"Haven't you heard? That Rinoa Kirigiri is the Phantom!"

"It's been a year and it still gives me the chill!"

"That lovely gal is a monster!"

"Looks can be deceiving, that Neon kid is so handsome too!"

"This is why we shouldn't trust good-looking people!"

Napabuntong hininga na lang si Shiro at hinawakan ang kwintas niyang may kulay puting diyamante sabay napatingin sa kalangitan. Wala nang kulay itim na kalangitan, kahit papaano ay naninibago pa din si Shiro sa lahat-lahat.

"Why do you have to frame yourself up,onee-san?" Bulong niya at nagpatuloy sa paglalakad.

Ilang araw pagkatapos ng gera ay nakakaraos na kahit papaano ang mga tao ngunit may isang video na kumalat mula sa account ni Rinrin. Nagkatinginan naman si Victorique at Shiro pero hindi silang nagdalawang-isip na i-play ang video na ito.

"Hello! Hello! It is I, Rinoa Kirigiri! You've probably recognized me as the Star Level Cosplayer of Hope Academy's 69th class also known as the students that experienced a mutual killing game. I am here to confess my sins, as you can see.. the one causing you all of this is no other than me! I caused this despair! I cause an apocalypse, pretty cool.. right? Neon isn't a bad person but he's the face of Madness even though I'm the mastermind.. what a plot twist,right? Guess that I'm too immorsed on fictional stuff that I want it to happen in real life! I want an apocalypse made by me and let everyone feel despair, it'll be wicked! Totally wicked!" Saad ni Rinrin at tumawa sabay itinuro ang kaliwang mata niya na nakapikit "See this? This is what I've received from the people from MAA. Well, I killed most of 'em especially Damon! I manipulated them and without them knowing the truth, I killed them! Some of 'em was indirectly killed by my plan so I'm still the reason why they died! Pretty awesome,right? Hate me! Curse me! But you won't be able to erase the fact that I did this to the whole world! A dying girl caused the world an apocalypse! A chaotic situation!"

Humalakhak naman si Rinrin na mistulang pangkontrabida sa isang nobela at napayukom ng kamao si Shiro na pinipigilan ang sarili, naninibago si Shiro. Ito ba ang pakiramdam ng magalit? Ayokong maramdaman ito.. iyon ang sumasagi sa isipan ng binata habang pinapanuod ang video. Umalis naman sandali si Rinrin at pagbalik nito, doon na nawalan ng pasensiya si Shiro at napahampas sa lamesa.

"This is how the Phantom of Demise looks like! Want to know what is the Phantom of Demise? The Phantom is Hope Foundation's enemy, the mystery that they want to unravel. Guess what? I'm introducing myself, I am also the Phantom! Now, aren't you impressed? I am not called the Star Level Cosplayer for nothing, with the right wig, contact lens, make-up and costume.. I can change my appearance within a few minutes without any hassle. Yet the puny foundation didn't even noticed it, how lame!" Napangiwi naman si Rinrin na ibang-iba ang anyo dahil sa suot nitong wig, contact lens at costume "And guess what? I've finally learned something from everything that I've done, 'Good rulers are always betrayed'. Well, I did betrayed Damon and the Star Level Princess by killing them and karma is preparing my punishment. Justin Grayville and Shiro betrayed me, they're a bunch of undercover agents from Hope Foundation. Now that is the reason why they haven't done anything bad but merely observe! Rinoa's sad now! Hu-hu-hu!"
