-A Few Weeks Later-

"Liam, your still sick. This is a bad idea." I told him, as he slipped on his boots. He glanced up at me and rolled his eyes, before walking over to the jacket that was hanging on the corner of the chair in the kitchen.

"We need a car, Niall. I have the money and if I don't get it done today, it won't happen." He said, as he slipped his arms into the leather jacket.

"Let me see your arm." I said, reaching out to grab one of his arms.

"What? Why?"

"Just give me your damn arm!" I demanded, before taking his arm out of one of the sleeves and rolling up his the sleeve of his t-shirt. "Your bruising, Liam. You shouldn't leave."

"I'll be fine, Ni. Don't worry. Are you coming with me, or not?"

"I have to stay with the girls." With that, he left and head toward the bus stop. I rested my forearms against the counter and ran my fingers through my hair in frustration. Why did he have to be so difficult?

"What is wrong?" Alice asked, as she walked into the kitchen. I looked up at her and sighed, shrugging my shoulders.

"Just Liam being Liam."

"Al.. I-I am sorry," She said, before patting my shoulder and walking over to the fridge, pulling out a bottle of water, and asked if she could have it. I nodded, and she walked back into the living room.

-Later That Day-

"Alright class, over the weekend, I want you to write about one thing you love doing," I said, as I grabbed the purple dry erase marker and wrote 'love' on the board. "This is just a way for me to get to know you better."

This was my first year teaching fourth grade. My teaching degree was for elementary school level students. Did I miss teaching second grade? Yes. But I can actually give my fourth graders harder topics to write about.

"Miss.Calder?" I heard one of my students ask, causing me to turn around. "What do you mean?"

"Like, what do you love to do in your free time. Do you love to read, draw, sing; anything you do that makes you happy." I explained, as I walked in front of my desk and leaned against it.

"Does it have to be something you love doing?" Another student asked.

"If you want to write about a person you love - like your mum, for example - go ahead. I just want to get to know you more." With that, the bell rang and the students left for their homes. I was glad it was the weekend. Not only was I free from grading test and papers, but because I get to see Niall.

Once I got back to my flat, I noticed my door was unlocked. I locked my door before I left for work this morning. I slowly walked in, only to find my couch flipped, pictures broken, amongst other things. I dropped my bag onto the floor and ran into the bathroom, and lifted the lid on the tank of the toilet. I had put a few hundred pounds in a ziplock bag and hid it there. I was trying to save up enough money so I could go back to school and get a higher degree.

All the money I had hidden away and saved up was stolen.

"Dammit!" I yelled, slamming the lid back onto the toilet. I walked into my kitchen, seeing that they decided to raid my fridge, too. Why did this happen to me?

I grabbed my phone and dialed Niall's number, hoping he could tell me what to do besides call the police.

"Hello princess. How are you?" He said, his accent deep.

"Absolutely dreadful. I come home from work and my flat was robbed."

"What?! Are you okay?" He asked, worry in his voice.

"I'm fine. Just upset. My flat looks like a tornado came through it. My couch is flipped, my pictures are shattered, my fridge was raided, and to top it all off, my savings stash was stolen." I explained, leaning my forearms against my counter, running my free hand through my hair.

"How much was in your stash, love?"

"Few hundred. I dunno what to do, Ni."

"Alright. Just stay calm. Call the police and report it. I'll call Liam real quick and ask if he can pick you up on his way home from the dealership." He explained, as I took a deep breath. "You'll stay here for the weekend. Longer if needed."

"I don't want to intrude. Plus, Liam's getting a car today? Isn't he sick?"

"Don't get me started on him. He's being difficult," He groaned, making me giggle a bit. "And your never intruding. Your always welcomed here." He said, causing me to smile. We said our goodbyes, before hanging up, and calling the police.

Once they showed up and examined everything, they told me that they would try and locate the person who did this. Just as they were about to leave, one of the men said he found a note on my bed. I grabbed the note and felt my heart drop.

'He started this war. And I'm going to end it. -P'

**Louis**

"I dunno, Lou. Sounds like you fancy this girl." My cousin, Stan, said, as he kicked the football towards me. I stopped it with my foot, picked it up, and started bouncing it on my knees.

"But she's a cat hybrid, Stanley. I'm a dog. Cats and dogs don't mix."

"So? It doesn't matter if your a dog and she's a cat. If you like someone, you like them for who they are, not what they are." He told me, causing me to grab the football in midair. I looked at the white and red ball in my hands, before sighing.

"I guess your right."

"You never know, Louis. Maybe she'll help you stay out of trouble." He pointed out, stealing the ball from my hands.

"Maybe."

"Now, tell me about this hybrid. Is she attractive?" He asked, kicking the ball into the air and trying to keep it from touching the ground.

"Long brunette hair, big brown eyes. About up to my shoulder in height. Beautiful smile.."

"You got it bad, mate. Like, really bad." He said, throwing the football at my stomach, and laughing. I laughed mockingly, before putting the ball on the grass, and kicking it halfway across the field, it landing into the goal. I threw my hands up in the air in excitement, feeling accomplished. I've made that shot before, but Stan has never seen me do it.

"Show off."

**Liam**

As I pulled up to El's flat, I saw her sitting outside, waiting patiently. Once she noticed me and the car, she smiled, grabbed her bag, and got into the car.

"You finally got a car." She said, a smile on her face. "I bet your excited."

"Hell yeah. No more riding the bus everyday." I replied, as I pulled away and drove towards Niall and I's flat. The whole ride home, Eleanor explained everything that happened at her flat. I felt horrible, because I know she really wants to go back to school.

Then she started yelling at me for leaving the flat. Said that I should've just stayed home and recovered before I went and got a car. I told her the same thing I told Niall. I didn't feel sick, therefore I was perfectly fine with going to the dealership.

Because no matter what Niall, or El says:

I refuse to believe my cancer is back.
