Epilogue

Niall’s POV

“Horan I’m glad your back, now if you ever take a cruiser you have to be with your partner.” Tim greets me as I walk into work. My new partner was Ash, he’s been working here for five years and Tim said that I could learn a couple things from him. I walk into the break room to grab a cup of coffee and then walk into Ash’s office. He was sitting at his desk on the phone. He hung up when he noticed me.

“Hello Niall, plans for today is to sit in the cruiser to wait for people to speed by. Yes it may sound crazy but the places that were going to go are where a lot of people like to speed.”

“Oh fun, just sitting around doing nothing.” I say walking out of the office, Ash following me. We had to pass through the cells to get to the cars. Green and his men- and girls- walked up to the bars laughing at me. I ignored them and just kept walking. Ash finally told them to shut up and back away from the bars. I flipped them off and laughed quietly to myself. I hated them so much, first taking Riley and Alice. Second taking Louis and Alice and then thirdly having them all sent to the government. Joke on them though the girls were fully citizens, had official birth certificates; they could walk around freely without anyone taking them again. Louis was already full citizen because of his dad.

Ash drove us to the outskirts of London. I guess this is where people liked to speed? I don’t know. We just sat in an old parking lot watching the car speed monitor as the cars passed. It was boring I thought I was going to fall asleep.

Louis POV  

Alice's birthday was coming close and I had to plan her birthday well. One that she'll remember forever. I know she loved Disney and that's what I'm going to try and do. Make everything Disney. I'm going to have to get help from my friends and family. 

The day after we got home I had to into work. I didn't bother covering my tail and ears up. I didn't have to worry any more. Yes I got a lot of weird looks walking into work but I didn't care.  

"What's with the costume Tomlinson?" Jack asked stopping me before going to a car to work on.  

"It's not a costume." Liam said hitting my shoulder. "Tail and ears are real. He's a dog hybrid." 

"Explains the beanie and missing a lot of days?" Jack asked. I nodded and explain to him why I missed so many days. 

"Alright well just don't piss on the tires or bark at anyone." Jack laughed. I mocked him as I walked over to the car. Sometimes those brothers could get on my nerves.  

"So Lou what are you planning on getting Alice?" Liam asked. I have an idea but I don't want to tell him, he might ruin it by telling Riley. 

"Oh umm I'm not for sure yet. When I dated Eleanor, I would get her something at the last minute. I'm horrible boyfriend I know" 

"No mate you’re not. Just get her something that you think she'll love?" 

"Like a ring?" I say quietly to myself but I think Liam heard. I looked over at him; he had the biggest smile on his face I blush knowing what he was thinking about. 

After work I go over to Liam's to be with Alice for the night. Niall was still at work or was he? He's probably with his girlfriend like how we are.  

Alice was lying on my lap as we watched a random show on the telly. She hums to herself when she gets bored. 

"Alice my love." She looks up at me. "Do you want to go home it's getting late" 

"We are home Louis." She giggled. 

"I mean my home; we can live together forever if you want." She sat up look over at Riley and Liam who were looking at us with curiosity. Riley nodded to her; Alice quickly got of the sofa and ran to the back room. Ten minutes later she came back in with three bags full of her stuff. I take it she's coming home with me. My tail wags with all the excitement in me. 

I grab her hand and take her out to my car. Alice puts her bags in the back seat. I get in the driver’s seat as she hugs Riley and Liam goodbye. She climbed into her seat; I kissed her temple and then drove to our flat. It's felt so weird thinking that it was our flat now. But I loved the thought.

*Week later*

It was finally Alice's birthday. Her 19th birthday. Mum and Dan came to visit. They stayed home with Alice as I went to go pick up something that I pre-order. Then I'm going to have to get Alice out of the flat for a bit so I could decorate. It may look childish but it's for Alice and she's going to love it. 

"Thanks." I say to women working. I look into the bag to make sure it was the right thing and I glad it was. I would be so pissed if it wasn't. I just wanted it to be perfect of her, you know. I drove back to my flat hiding the small box in my jean jacket.

When I got home Alice showed me her new hairstyle that mum did for her. Alice’s hair was in a braid, like the girl from the hunger games, I think it’s called a French braid not for sure. She looked so lovely though, that I kissed her on the lips.

“Happy birthday Princess Alice, where’s your tiara?” She runs upstairs and then runs back down carrying a silver tiara. I take it from her hands to place it on her head. Now see looked like a princess. She had her new birthday dress on that was a lime green color. I bought it yesterday for her and gave it to her this morning to wear. She absolutely loved it; she twirled in it when she had it on. 

Liam, Niall, Riley, Eleanor, and the gays a.k.a Harry and Zayn showed up, so mum took Alice out to pick out a cake while we decorated. We had Mickey Mouse balloons up everywhere in the flat. We also had a few princess balloons. I picked out Minnie Mouse plates and cups to use. Yes it may seem like a lot of Disney stuff but nope not at all for some one that loves Disney. 

Mum and Alice came back with a Little Mermaid/ Tangled cake.  Ariel and Rapunzel were Alice’s favorite princesses. I didn’t have any Disney movies so we had to borrow them from Liam. We sang to her and enjoyed eating the cake. 

Liam and Riley handed Alice a couple of gifts, she opened them to receive The Little Mermaid, Tangled, The Lion King, and Aladdin movies. Zayn and Harry got her a Mickey and Minnie Mouse necklace. Niall and Eleanor got her a Rapunzel figurine.  Now it was my chance to give her my last gift. I got on knee if front of her. I pulled the small box out of my pocket and grabbed her left hand. 

“Will you marry me and become my Queen, Alice?” She nodded her head. I placed the Tangled inspired ring on her hand. It was a gold band with purple, pink, and white diamonds. The purple part was in a shape of a flower and on the inside on the band it was engraved with the words, My new dream.
