Chapter 27

Louis POV

The more thunder cracked the more Alice huddled up against me. I just hugged her tight. I could tell she had a fear of thunder storms. I door opened, I looked over there and Paul was in the door way. 

"Here kitty kitty kitty.” Alice hissed at him. "Fine but I was going to offer you to be free but I guess you don't want that.”

"Free?" 

"Yes you can be free if you come with me."  Alice started to get up but I pulled her back.

“No Ali he’s lying to you. He’s just trying to get you away from me.” She listened and stayed with me, Paul groaned, left the room slamming the door shut and locking the door. We sat in silence, listening to the rain poor down outside. Alice rested her head on my shoulder, quick even breaths escaped her, knowing that she had fallen asleep again.

I gently laid her down and I lay behind her. I propped myself up so I could see her face and threw an arm around her. I began to trace shapes on her arm. She was adorable when she slept. So innocent that she doesn’t know about things and I don’t think she should. Never, that would just ruin her for life. She turned so she was facing me. I laid my head down so we were facing each other. Then, she buried her face into my chest. Her ears starting to peek through her hair, telling me she felt safe like this. 

I blew air onto her ear and it did a little twitch. A piece of hair fell in her face, I brushed it back. I was going to brush it behind her ear but I knew she didn’t have human ears like me. Mine didn’t work but they were still there. Alice stirred a little in her sleep; I kissed her between her ears. I really am falling in love with her and I’ve only known her for a couple months.

In the morning or at least I thought it could be, Alice was still in my arms. I didn’t realize I had fallen asleep and I surprise they didn’t try to come in here to get her. Did they not come in here to check up on us? Well, I don’t care as long as Alice and I were together. Alice woke up a little bit after I did. 

“Morning beautiful.” 

“Morning. H-had dream about you. 

“Really? What was it about?”

“You and me. I th-think you’re my something great.” She said using my words when I describe how much I like her. “I like you too, I don’t care what Riley say about dogs and cats not mixing.” I knew Riley told her something like that.

Niall POV 

It's been six days since Alice went with Louis to Greens but they didn't return. Riley has been upset, crying and always yelling on about Louis being a bad person. Liam has been trying to calm her down but it barely worked. 

Liam, Harry, Zayn and Eleanor have Ben going to work when they had to. I stayed at Harry's house with Riley, she paced the floor back and forth trying to out a way to find Alice. I tried calling Louis cell but I got voicemail every time. His phone must be off or he's not wanting to answer. 

"We have to find her Ni." She stopped pacing and sat on the couch. 

"I know but where is she? Is the question. “Riley sighed. There was a knock on the door; I quickly got up to answer it. Nobody was there but I did find a note. I closed the door and sat back on the couch with Riley to read the note. 

'Do you want to see your hybrid friends again? Well of course you do. I want to see my cousin again. I know where they took them meet me in the London Children's Playground at 8. Come alone. -Stan’ 

Who was Stan? Was he Louis cousin since he said I wanted to see his cousin again? A whole of questions popped in my head.

When Liam got home, I took the car but before I left explained the note to him. I was going to get our friends back with this total stranger that I didn’t even know. How could I trust him? Well were just going to find out aren’t we.

 I arrived to the park, getting out of the car and walking up to the fence border of the park. I leaned up against it waiting for this Stan guy to show up. 

“Did you come alone?” An unfamiliar voice asked 

“Yes, but who are you?” I asked 

“Stan Louis’ cousin, now I’ve said too much. We should get going.” He opened up the passenger door on my car. I got into the driver’s seat. Stan told me directions to go to find Alice and Louis. We ended up at an old warehouse building just outside of London. Stan got out of the car as I parked. I followed him. As we were walking towards the door he told me to stay quiet and to stay behind him. He opened the door allowing me to go in first; he followed closing the door quietly behind him. 

I followed him around a corner, holding up a hand for me to stop. Stan looked into a room then looked back at me. He quickly ran to the other side of the door and I did the same. We went down the hall to a door that was shut with locks on it. Stan picked the locks and opened the door. We walked into a small room. There was a bed in the corner and two hybrids were sitting against the wall huddled together.

“Louis, Alice.” I whispered. They looked up at me and they quickly got off the bed. Stan told to be quiet as we were exiting the small room. We followed him out the building. I lead the two to my car and Stan stayed by the door. He pulled a bomb like object out of his pocket and latched to the door. He ran to the car quickly getting in. Stan told me to leave quickly and I did. In the rearview mirror I saw the building blow up. 

“Stan what are you doing with the Irishman?” Louis asked. 

“Lou I was doing my job.”

“And your job would be?”

“Secret agent now shut up.” I arrived at the park to drop Stan off. I drove back to Harry and Zayn’s house. Once we arrived Alice jumped out to run inside to find Riley. Louis and I walked quietly into the house I wanted strangle him for whatever he did to get kidnapped.

Alice and Riley were hugging tightly and Riley notice Louis. She released her hug with Alice ran toward Louis. She tackled him to the ground punching him like crazy. I guess I didn’t have to hurt him anymore.

“This is what you get for taking her away for a very long time.” She hissed at him.

“You’re just a stupid cat that doesn’t even know what really happened.” He growled back at her. Riley scratched at his face.

“Riley stop! Louis…. Louis he’s my something great!” Riley stopped to look at Alice confused. We all turned to look at her confused. I know Riley also told Alice after Ri’s first fight with Louis that cats and dogs don’t mix but I think Alice is breaking that rule and so was Louis.
