**Third Person**

"It's been three days. At least let me see her once." Louis said, begging the man who barged into his holding area. The man shook his head, causing Louis to groan. "Please? All I'm asking is for five minutes."

"It's not up to me." The man spat, before leaving the room, slamming the door behind him. Louis flipped the man off, before leaning his forehead against the wall, mentally banging his head against it repeatedly. All he wanted was to make sure she was okay. That's all he wanted.

Next door, Riley and Alice sat on the floor side by side, scared and afraid. Compared to Green's lab, this was hell. Because the difference between the two locations:

They made it out of Green's alive.

The girls didn't quite understand what really was going on. What they did understand was that they might not see the outside world ever again. And in both of the cat hybrids minds, that meant not seeing Liam, nor Louis, again. And it upset them.

"I want to go home." Alice said, resting her head on her sister's shoulder.

"I do, too, Ali." Riley replied, placing her head on top of Alice's. She looked at the door across the room and sighed, knowing that the one guy she disliked was somewhere in this building, too. She couldn't help but wonder if he was okay, or alive.

"What would I give to live where you are? What would I pay to stay here beside you?.." Alice sang quietly, trying to cheer herself up. "What would I do to see you smiling at me?"

Next door, Louis could hear talking in the room next to him, but he couldn't quite catch what was being said. After a few moments of trying to figure the voices out, he gave up, due to the fact that the talking ceased. He sat on the floor, his back against the wall, hoping that Denise would walk in and tell him the fate of him and the two girls.

Suddenly, he heard a voice from the room next door. He lent his ear towards the sound, noticing it wasn't just talking, but singing. Once he got a good listen of the song, he felt his heart rate speed up. It wasn't just someone. It was Alice.

"Where would we walk? Where would we run? If we could stay all day in the sun." Louis heard, causing him to smile. The sound of her voice let him know that she was alive. "Just you and me and I could be - Part of your world." She ended, making him smile even more. He wanted to talk to her and let her know he was there. But didn't know how Denise, or the man that was in his room earlier would feel about it.

But Louis was a risk taker, remember?

Louis knocked on the wall, trying to grab the girls' attention. When they didn't answer, he knocked once more. "Alice, Riley. It's Louis. I hope your both okay. We're gonna get out of here. I promise."

**Louis**

-Day Later-

I was being dragged into a room down the hall from the one I was being held in. I was instructed not to talk, or something bad would happen. Although I wanted to cuss the man out, I bit my tongue and kept my mouth shut. When he pushed me into a room, I was surprised to see Denise.

"Sit down." She demanded. I scoffed, crossing my arms and shaking my head.

"A simple 'Please sit down' would work." I said, only to receive a glare from the woman. I rolled my eyes, before sitting in the chair across from her.

"I did some research, which then led to some serious thinking."

"So this serious thinking process took four days? Wow."

"If you don't stop being sassy and a major asshole, your going back in that damn room and you'll never see your precious cat again. So I suggest you shut the hell up." She spat, causing me to sigh and allow her to proceed.

"Anyways, I've came to a decision on you and your little friends future." She said, lacing her fingers together on top of the table. I looked at her eagerly, waiting for her response, hoping that it's good.

"You three don't seem like a real threat to anyone, or anything for that matter. I was spectacle about you for a bit, though. When asked if you've ever wanted to kill anyone, you pinpointed three specific people. Plus, you mentioned that you did beat up Preston Mahon."

"But I told you I was defending my friend, Liam. And I said I wanted to kill Green because he held an innocent girl and his own daughter hostage all their lives. He beat them and kept them both in cages."

"I understand, Tomlinson. The police informed me of everything on the Green case." She said. "Anyways, since you were born in Doncaster and your father is full human, you are legally a citizen of England. So, you are free to go."

"But what about the girls? I can't and won't leave without Alice and Riley." I said, standing my ground and demanding an explanation.

"Tomlinson-"

"No. You listen here. You said it yourself: Those girls wouldn't hurt anyone, or anything. Now, I may not particularly like Riley, but she is a really sweet girl. She also has someone that loves her more than anything in this world and that is my friend, Liam. Now, when it comes to Alice, I love her with all my being, and I need her. She is the greatest thing to ever happen in my life and I plan on having a future with that girl one day. If you were to tell me that you weren't going to give them citizenship, then I don't want it either. I'm not leaving without them." I told her, meaning every word.

Denise was speechless, whereas her expression was almost shocked that I, a badass, had a heart that big. It was silent for a few minutes, before she sighed, and gave me an honest smile.

"I guess my decision has been changed." She said, causing me to smile widely. "Frank, bring me the girls." She hollered, as the man left and vanished down the hall, only to come back moments later with Alice and Riley.

"Louis!" Alice yelled, before hugging me tightly, her arms around my neck. I hugged her back, kissing her cheek and forehead repeatedly. When she moved away from me, Denise told them to sit. That's when she told them they were free to leave and told them they were now citizens of England.

Once all the papers and legal things were signed, Denise herself drove us to Liam's.

-Two Hours Later-

"Your all free to leave. I'll stay here until you get into the house. You guys won't have to deal with us, or me anymore." And without a second glance, we got out of the car and ran to the door. I knocked on the door multiple times, only to have no reply. I looked at the girls and smiled, before banging on the door again.

"Liam! Open the door, dammit!" And like that, I heard footsteps become rapid, before the door was ripped open, only to reveal Liam. His face was bright, as he hugged Alice and patted my shoulder, before wrapping his arms around Riley's waist and spinning her around, causing her to laugh. He kissed her repeatedly, before setting her down and leading us inside. I watched Denise leave, which told me that we were finally free.

As Liam and the girls and Niall talked amongst each other, I kept stealing glimpses at Alice, mentally planning a birthday party.
