**Louis**
"Make sure you lock all the doors and windows, Aunt Jay. They could be searching for Louis and Alice right now." Stan said, his hands gripped tightly on the steering wheel as we pulled up to my mum's house. I looked out the window, the familiar brick house standing tall. All the lights were on, telling me that no one was sleeping.
"Stanley, I know what to do, dear." She replied, before smiling at me. "Ready?" She asked me. I nodded, looking over at Alice and gently shaking her awake. She fell asleep ten minutes into the hour and a half car ride. I didn't blame her though, I was kind of tired as well.
"Where are we?" Alice asked groggily, as she lifted her head off my shoulder and looked around.
"We're at my mum's house. It's safe here, I promise." I replied, as I grabbed her hand and helped her out of the car. We told Stan goodbye, before walking inside the house.
"Girls! Dan!" My mum yelled, as I closed the door behind me. Suddenly, all my sisters ran into the entryway, smiling once they noticed I came and was safe. I hugged them all, before standing next to Alice.
"Louis, who's your little friend here?" Felicite asked, a wide grin on her face.
"She's really pretty." Phoebe added, causing Alice to turn a bright shade of red.
"This is Alice." I said, introducing her. Alice gave them a weak wave, a small smile on her face. I thought everything was going well, until Lottie pointed out that Alice was a cat hybrid. The girls then got defensive and stared at her like she was a deadly disease.
"Just because Alice is a cat, doesn't mean you should treat her differently. She genuine, sweet, and harmless. I promise." I told them. They all sighed, exchanging looks amongst each other, before looking at me. "Plus, I love her and you'll get over it." I added, sticking my tongue out at them, causing them to giggle.
"Hey mum, I think Ali and I are gonna head to bed. Is that okay?" I said, as I walked Alice and myself into the living room, only to find my mum lying on the sofa, her legs propped up on some pillows. This pregnancy is really kicking her bum.
"Alright dear. Goodnight." She said, as I led Alice up the stairs to one of the guest rooms.
"You tired?" I asked her, as she jumped into the guest bed and pulled the covers over her. She nodded, before a yawn escaped her lips and she buried her head into the pillow. "I'm sorry about everything, Ali. I truly am." I said, as I laid beside her in the bed.
"It is fine, Louis." She mumbled, as her breathing became slow and even, telling me she had fallen asleep. I sighed, before kissing her forehead and falling asleep as well.

-Midnight-
"Per, maybe we should give up for the night. We've been at this for hours." Olly said, as he lit a cigarette and took a drag. I groaned, rolling my eyes at the man. Of all people, why did I get paired up with him?
"I was taught to never give up. Once I set my mind on something, there's no way I can stop," I told him, as I examined the files again and again. "Besides, if Higgins and Mahon would've done their job, we wouldn't be here doing this. Now you have two options: Either you help me find these damn hybrids, or get the hell out."
Olly rolled his eyes, before grabbing the laptop and punching the keys, obviously putting in some kind of code of sorts. "What do you need me to do?"
"Track his phone." He did as I asked, his fingers moving rapidly across the keyboard. I thought he was actually getting somewhere. Until he started chuckling. "What's so funny, Murs?"
"Either his number changed, or he's in Brighton."
"I thought you were good at this?!"
"I am. But I can't do anything if he changed his damn number!" He yelled at me, slamming the laptop screen closed. I glared at him, thinking about how much I wanted to kill him. He gets under my skin, so much.
"Fine. Then look up these names and telling when you get a hit on something."
We sat there for hours, going through his files and searching people who were related and or associated with him. Each person we looked up had zero hits, causing our hope to dwindle. Until one person caught our attention.
Stanley Lucas.

**Liam**
I woke up around two in the morning to the sound of the bed creaking. I slowly opened my eyes, as I watched Riley shuffle out the door. Everything that happened this afternoon with Alice was eating her alive. And I was scared she would shut herself out again.
I waited a few moments before getting out of bed and following her downstairs, only to find her sitting in the dark living room, hugging her knees.
"Ri? Are you okay?"
"No. I am a horrible person. I am worried about her." She replied, her eyes not leaving the floor. I shuffled across the room and say beside her, as she rested her head on my shoulder, her ears disappearing into her red hair. "She ran off and I do not know where she went."
"I understand. I'm worried about her, too."
"I promised I would not hurt her. And I did. She hates me." She said, her voice low. "I am a bad sister."
"No your not. All siblings argue and fight. It's natural. My sisters and I always fought all the time."
"I am a bad sister and I hate myself." She said, pushing herself off my shoulder and landing face first into the couch. I got onto the floor and sat beside her, before I lifted her head off the couch, causing her to look me in the eyes.
"You aren't a bad sister. I promise you that. I love you and I will do everything I can to find Alice. You have my word." I told her, wiping away the few tears she had streaming down her face.
"I trust you, Li." She replied. I gave her a small smile, before leaning in and pressing my lips to hers gently. When I pulled away, I stood up from the floor and sat on the couch, as Riley rested her head in my lap and fell back to sleep. I pulled the blanket off the back of the couch and draped it on her, before falling asleep myself.
