A Peculiar Fanfiction

~Chapter 8~

Note: Sorry if this chapter is boring, I'm starting to run out of ideas and I still need to think of a way to get Kate and the wights in the story. Happy 2k17 (this chapter takes place after their little fashion show cause I feel like that if I wrote what happened during it, it would be the most shortest and boring chapter ever. Also if you guys have seen Foursome on YoutubeRed then Cauls personality will be like the character Logan Paul plays)

~Miss Peregrines POV~

Derek and I had just finished cleaning up what was left of the clothing from on the ground and supper while the children watched Horace's dream.

I heard all the children gasping in the room they were all. I quietly made my way into the same room as the children so I could get a glimpse of what Horace was dreaming of last night.

~Emma's POV~

Millard and Olive had just finished delivering all of us our hot chocolate when Miss Peregrine turned off the light and walked away for Horace to start his dream.

The dream turned out to be a nightmare, a nightmare to all of us. Horace had dreamed that Miss Peregrine was taken by the wights.

This is the part where the younger ones started to cry. Another vision came and there was a male version of Miss Peregrine which confused us for a second because we were all sure that Miss Peregrine had no relatives, but he was running from the wights and hollows with a peregrine falcon in his hand.

Another vision came and the guy that had the peregrine falcon in his hand was on a wolf and the wolf had the peregrine falcon in his mouth, trying not to bite it, they were running away from the monsters.

Derek had flicked on the lights, we all turned around and Miss Peregrine was standing there, a tear rolled down her cheek. "Hey are you okay?" I heard Derek ask but she turned away trying to wipe the tears away before anyone had seen them, unfortunately she was a little bit to slow for that since most of us had seen.

"Yeah I'm f-fine, better go reset the loop" and with that she walked away, Derek saw the younger ones in tears and decided to comfort them.

~Miss Peregrines POV~

When I arrived in the room they were in, their expression was priceless and I saw Claire about to cry, I was going to go and comfort her but that's when I saw on the screen Horace was producing, Caul. What? Caul is still alive? I thought to myself and I didn't continue to watch the rest, I was to deep in thought. Caul was supposed to be dead, I clearly saw him die when I was around the age of 8, he was around 11. He died along with my human parents when a normal had attacked us and I managed to get out with Caul but he got shot in the last minute and he told me to keep running.

I kept watching from behind them and felt a slight tear roll down my cheek, it's been so long since I've seen Caul obviously. He was my only family since our parents clearly didn't like us.

Before I can proceed what was happening Derek had turned on the lights and all the children swung around and I instantly turned the opposite way to wipe away my tears and then left to do reset.

After the reset I went upstairs to take a quick bath and got changed into my nightgown. I tied my hair up in its usual and washed off the remaining makeup I had on my face.

Derek had already taken the children to sleep during the reset and I wasn't feeling tired at the moment and saw Derek sitting on the sofa in the main room and decided to join him. "Hello, I apologise for leaving earlier, I wasn't feeling myself" I needed to apologise for blowing all of them out earlier on, hoping that Derek doesn't ask why.

Derek took some time to adjust his focus on me because I can see he nearly drifted off to sleep.

"Oh yeah, it's okay don't worry about it but I swear a saw a tear rolling down your cheek when you were watching Horace's dream and some of the children did too, they asked me what was wrong but I didn't have an answer, care to tell me so?" Derek was getting suspicious.

I sighed but it turned out to be louder than it usually was and Derek had pick that up and guessed I didn't want to tell him "If you don't want to tell me that's okay but if anything is wrong just tell me" he said with another one of his 'charming' winks. This time I sighed with relief.

It's been hours since we've been up talking and I pushed the thought of Caul being alive away to enjoy Derek's presence, I decided to check my watch and it was already 2am. I was used to staying up this early in the morning, sometimes I don't even sleep and I just stand at the door to make sure nothing harms my children.

This time, I actually felt my body drifting away and barely keeping my eyes open. I laid my head on Derek's shoulder and I felt his hand stroking my hair and before anything else, I fell straight to sleep.

~Emma's POV~

I woke up feeling a little bit thirsty as always and the lights are always on downstairs in case anyone needed to get something down there, which isn't usually allowed, but I don't expect anyone to be there.

I walked into the main room because that's how you get to one of the kitchens in the house. As I was walking a heard a sudden movement coming from behind me, it startled me as I turned around to see who was there. I saw 2 heads and they were on the sofa facing the fireplace so their backs were towards me.

I walked over to see who it was and Miss Peregrine had fallen asleep on Derek, Derek was also but his hand was on Miss Peregrines hair and he didn't look that comfortable but he managed.

I scanned Miss Peregrines face, she looks so gorgeous even with no make up. How can such a women stay so beautiful like this? I thought to myself, Miss Peregrine was the most beautiful person I have ever seen in my life.

After some time I decided to do what I came here for and darted back upstairs to mine and Olives bedroom.

A/N : yeah... I know this is starting to get boring and I don't actually know like how to start including the wights, also I forgot to include that in the cast, Samuel L. Jackson will be playing the main wight obviously.... If there's anything I can work on, please tell me cause I feel like I'm getting useless at this lol. Soon I'll be starting to write a Dark Shadows (Barngelique) Fanfiction though.
