Note: Bare with me. This chapter will be utterly confusing. Also, I apologize if you're a trump supporter, cause this chapter MIGHT offend you XD. Also I apologize if this doesn't even feel like a MPHFPC fanfiction but if you haven't noticed yet, this fanfiction is about the peculiar's trying new things. And not edited cause I'm lazy

~Third POV~

"Wake up" Derek yelled as he opened the curtains, so far the children were already in the kitchen having breakfast which surprisingly wasn't made by Miss Peregrine because she was still sleeping.

The sun light hitting her face startled her as she shot straight up for she never feels the sun on her skin as she wakes up. "Oh no, I'm late! Whats the time?" Miss Peregrine asked, she already knew she was late by the smell of bacon and eggs reaching her nostrils. "9:30" Derek said, looking at his watch. "What?! Seriously!" Miss Peregrine exclaimed as she fell back down onto the bed.

"The others were awake hours ago but decided to let you sleep since you were basically up all night" Derek told. "Yeah but on most nights I never sleep!" Miss Peregrine blurted as she face palmed. "Well clearly you're looking to waste more time by the look of it, all your doing is laying there" Derek said, gesturing to the bed and back at Miss Peregrine and threw the bag he had given her yesterday towards her.

"Why do I need this?" Miss Peregrine asked in a confused tone. "Alma, like I said yesterday, you'll be needing whats inside it" Derek responded, stating the obvious and left the room, closing the door and sitting against the wall.

Miss Peregrine on the other hand was still terribly confused but nonetheless, she sat down and grabbed what was inside the bag.

From there, she pulled out a black dress and a pair of shoes. 'You've got to be kidding me' she thought to herself, examining the dress.

In the end, it wasn't as much of a terrible dress but she still didn't get why there was clothing in the bag so instead of questioning herself, she opened the door, still holding the dress.

"What's this for?" She asked Derek, popping her head out. "Well since this will be the only way to get you in that dress. I am going to take you on a shopping treat because you seriously need to update your closet and since I am going to be doing so, you can't go walking around in the usual outfit you were, people are out there and whatever they see, they won't forget and you would be merrily judged, I mean, Donald Trump is president now, imagine if Melania Trump saw you dressed in your usual, she would turn into a fashion police, literally, people are judged on what they wear now." Derek said, chuckling at the end of his sentence.

"Why though, we aren't going to be staying here for that long" Miss Peregrine said, hoping what she said was true. "Yes, but you're still in need for a new closet" Derek said, smirking as Miss Peregrine rolled her eyes a hid back into the room.

But after hesitating she decided to slide her slim body inside the dress while putting the shoes on that were given. She looked in the mirror, Miss Peregrine never paid attention to what her appearance looked like, nor did she care but for some reason, in her mind she looked gorgeous in something else for once. What are you thinking? You can't wear this! Miss Peregrine scowled herself .

After examining herself, she opened the door, tucking her body behind it so only her head was revealed. "Ah great! You're done, time for your face up, or whatever you girls call it" Derek said, clapping and Maryann made her way up the stairs. "Yay!" Maryann exclaimed before inviting herself in and Miss Peregrine gave Derek a death glare before shutting the door.
