Charles' POV
Enlisting a construction company to flawlessly rebuild the wall Scott recklessly demolished and wiping almost the entire town's memories thereafter, it was daybreak by the time we returned to the mansion with Bobby.
Landing our aircraft safely in the underground hangar next to Lynn's X-Jet, Scott hurriedly escorted Bobby away as he observed Lynn furiously stomping into the arena in her night robe.
"You're a liar, Xavier," she hissed the moment the boys disappeared beyond the wide room, forcefully shoving me against a nearby desk.
"I'm sorry, my love," I apologised sincerely though with a slight chuckle as I cuddled her lean frame.
Lynn maintained her straight face, successfully pretending to be annoyed by my broken promise and lack of punctuality that was only given away by her rather calm mind, albeit her bloodshot eyes did reveal the insomnia that plagued her through the night I was regrettably not by her side. Caressing her pale cheek, I leaned into her and planted a sweet morning kiss to her lips that instantly curved into a grin.
"I hate you," she mumbled, kissing me back passionately.
"Doesn't seem so," I teased, actively participating in the affectionate gesture as I spun her around.
Mindlessly swiping the stationery off, I lifted her onto the horizontal surface where she sat with the inside of her thighs pressing against my erected lower region. Gasping and moaning apart, we got further than we did in my study yesterday, actually getting our hands on each other's bare skin when Wanda's thoughts rang louder than Erik's plane stealthily approaching the premises.
"Tell me why we're doing this here and not in our room, again?" I contended playfully as Lynn paused in her actions, looking extremely irritated by our incoming company.
"Because someone wasn't there when I got home," she retorted, crossing her arms in frustration.
"Do you want to carry on?" I prodded with a grin and she shot me a peculiar expression.
"Is that really a question?" She snapped, frowning.
"Then, be quiet," I demanded softly, holding her close.
Erik's team soon disembarked their X-Jet with Erik and Lorna nonchalantly ushering our newest student to the exit. Wanda halted in her steps briefly, staring in our direction with a pair of scrutinizing eyes and even though her telepathy was strong, she failed to dismantle the psychic shield that shrouded our improperly cloaked selves from plain sight. Disappointed, Wanda simply followed her father and sister away from the basement and Lynn heaved a sigh of relief as they vanished.
"Shall we now," I articulated cheekily and Lynn blushed as we finally had our make out session come to completion.
Replacing the hovering writing equipment and adjusting our attires to be presentable for breakfast, we headed towards the dining hall to meet up with the others. Enjoying our meal as per normal with the kiddy chatters filling the background, Erik intended to smoke a cigarette but fiddled endlessly with his pockets, incapable of locating his lighter.
"I swear I still had it on the plane," he grumbled and all of us helped to look around when Lynn spoke.
"There," Lynn declared, pointing to the boy Erik brought back.
He flicked the cap open, smiling eerily at the bright flame that suddenly burst into a wildfire, almost catching onto the hair of the new girl sat beside him. She squealed in terror and her body instantly became translucent, avoiding harm from the fervent blaze before it was quickly contained within its encasing, flying through the air into Lynn's palm as she stood up.
