(A/N: This is still in progress.)

What would I do without your smart mouth?

I hate you

The words played through Washington's mind like a broken record. Washington never knew that words could hurt until now. He thought that bullets and broken bones were painful but it was nothing. Guess that old sticks and stones rhyme was full of it.

What else could he do? Even when he tried his hardest, it still wasn't enough. He was just trying to protect her.

A deep sigh escaped his lips and his golden eyes began to swell with tears. Shocked, he brought his armored hand to touch his pale cheeks. A drop of the liquid collected on his fingertips, before disappearing and leaving a small, dark spot in its place. He wasn't one for crying or showing any sentimental emotions for that matter. He just couldn't help it. Betrayed by his own heart, something he swore he would never affect his actions or choices.

She was just so perfect to him. Her long black hair, when she didn't do anything to it, defied gravity, and her silky, brown skin absorbed sunlight. She was absolutely magical to him. She was his lucky charm, even though he didn't believe in things like that.

Now, the one who he loved with all his heart is gone just because he couldn't express his feelings. It's not that he didn't want to, he just didn't know how.

Drawing me in, and you kicking me out

You've got my head spinning, no kidding, I can't pin you down

Flashbacks of better days flooded his mind, From their first date with York and Carolina, the day he though she would die, and finally their first kiss. He remembered vividly how her soft, plump lips sent a surge of electricity through his body and how tightly he embraced her. The words that she uttered during their moment of intimacy still made his heart flutter to this day.

Wash, I love you.

What's going on in that beautiful mind
I'm on your magical mystery ride
And I'm so dizzy, don't know what hit me, but I'll be alright

My head's under water
But I'm breathing fine

Washington looked around. Seems as if he zoned out again. A frustrated grunt came from his lips. Pushing himself up from his sitting position above a empty supply crate outside of the base. He rubbed the back of his helmeted head.

''What are you doing , Wash?'' He started pacing back and forth. ''You need to talk to her. Just tell her the truth.''

You're crazy and I'm out of my mind

''Okay.'' He breathed out before running off into the direction that Alaska headed off to. The canyon wasn't huge but it was still would be like finding a needle in a haystack and she was he one needle that he's spend an eternity searching for. After searching for what seemed like an eternity, Washington didn't become heartbroken, he was worried. A million and one unpleasent thoughts raced through his mind. What if she was hurt ? What if she was somewhere dark and she was afraid to move?

'No. No. Calm down.' He shook the thoughts from his mind and took a deep breath to call down. Okay, If she's not at the Red or Blue bases, then there was one other place that she could be and he hoped to God that she wasn't there.

'Cause all of me

Loves all of you

Locus.

She and Locus had become good friends after Felix's death and she was grateful to him for saving her friends. Although he would criticize her for settling down with Washington, they had a lot more in common that surprised Alaska. She would often contact Locus just to remind him that he still had friends or just to talk to him.

That's exactly who he found her with. In the New Republic's old base, among the wreckage. Washington felt confident that he put up a very good fight the last time they met. However , he still knew that Locus had negative feelings towards him. When Alaska turned to him, it hurt Washington a lot. It was almost as if she was turning her feelings towards Maine and North into energy and giving it to Locus. Which Washington didn't approve of.

He slowly shimmied along the destroyed remnants of the building. Careful of the crumbling debris. he grabbed a hold of the metal column to help him with his balance. he slowly tilted his head to look into a large hole in the wall. there , he saw Locus and Alaska sitting on a large , broken piece of concrete. They were sitting back to back just like Alaska and North used to sit. their helmets were off , sitting a couple a of inches away from them, Alaska was hugging her knees while locus was sharpening a large combat knife. Washington heard her mumbling and whining into her knees.

''I've told you before, I don't understand when you're mumbling and whining into your knees.'' locus' deep voice echoed through the small area, he was examining the knife . Alaska lifted her head up and tilted it back to that the top of her head was touching his back armor. Washington could see that she'd been crying. Seeing her face drenched with tears, made his heart sink.

''I hate when you cry. You look unattractive.'' Locus said bluntly. Washington could feel his blood boil. How could he be aggressive with her in her time of need?

''It's hard to understand you. He's not worth your tears.'' He spoke, still not turning around to look at the distressed female.

''Im sorry.''

''Dont be.''

''Sure..''

''Im serious, Alaska, tears are signs of weakness. Dont give them to those that dont deserve them.''

''You sound like North.'' She chuckled through her tears. She missed her best friend. Just the mere mention of his name, made her cry all over again. Alaska sighed to herself and wiped away the new tears.

''Stop that.'' Locus said putting his blade back into its sheath and turning around. His movement caused Alaska to fall right into his lap. He gave a soft smile and helped her sit up.

''Look , as much as I dont approve, I can tell that he loves you.''

''B-but look at me, Im a freak !'' Alaska cried out, ''I have a noticeable scar on my face and I only have one leg!''

Washington put his hand on his chest plate.

'

Love your curves and all your edges
All your perfect imperfections

''No , You're not! You're amazing !'' Washington was shocked that the words even escaped from his mouth.

Give your all to me
I'll give my all to you
You're my end and my beginning
Even when I lose I'm winning
'Cause I give you all of me

And you give me all of you, oh oh

How many times do I have to tell you
Even when you're crying you're beautiful too
The world is beating you down, I'm around through every mood
You're my downfall, you're my muse
My worst distraction, my rhythm and blues

I can't stop singing, it's ringing, in my head for you

My head's under water
But I'm breathing fine
You're crazy and I'm out of my mind

'Cause all of me
Loves all of you
Love your curves and all your edges
All your perfect imperfections
Give your all to me
I'll give my all to you
You're my end and my beginning

Even when I lose I'm winning
'Cause I give you all of me
And you give me all of you, oh oh

Give me all of you
Cards on the table, we're both showing hearts
Risking it all, though it's hard

'Cause all of me
Loves all of you
Love your curves and all your edges
All your perfect imperfections
Give your all to me
I'll give my all to you

You're my end and my beginning
Even when I lose I'm winning
'Cause I give you all of me
And you give me all of you

I give you all of me
And you give me all of you, oh oh
