Misery (Lambda)

Alaska held her head and screamed in pain. Her head was hurting very badly. As if a volcano was about to erupt in her mind. Her ears were ringing and all she heard was a low echo like she was underwater. She cried louder as hot tears ran down her face.

''Stop it!'' She cried out, begging for the unbearable pain to stop or at least ease up. She could normally ignore pain but this was something she had never experienced before.

''Alaska!'' North ran into the room hearing her crying. The other freelancers followed behind him. Just as concerned as he was. They found her on her knees with her head in her hands and her hair draped over her hands.

''Help! Make it stop!'' Alaska screamed at her friends as they watched helplessly.

''What's going on with her?'' Connie spoke as Alaska released more heart breaking cries. She looked around the group, hoping that someone had an answer.

''Maybe it's her AI.'' Delta spoke as he appeared on the shoulder of York. The attention was turned to the green intelligence.

''What could he be doing to her, D?'' York replied.

''It seems as if Lambda isn't completely synced with her and he's trying to get out.''

''Don't try to analyze me , brother.'' A deep voice was heard catching all of the freelancers off guard, all except for Delta who disappeared only to reappear in front of Alaska.

''You're hurting her , Lambda. Please cease.''

Alaska lifted up her head to look at Delta. Everyone could now see her red eyes and wet face.

''She has trapped me , brother.I need to be free.'' Lambda's voice came from Alaska's mouth. 

''H-He took over her body?'' North said from shock. Theta appeared on his shoulder .

''Brother is a meany.'' Theta replied with hands on his hip.

''She has not trapped you. You are a part of her. You are her partner.'' Delta said trying to work with the angry AI.

''Why? Why am I her partner?''

''Because you must assist her running her suit's equipment. You must insure her safety.''
