"Would you destroy Something perfect in order to make it beautiful?" -Gerard Way

With every day that past, the chances of Tellie waking up got slimmer, even if she could stay in the coma, sooner or later they'd have to pull the plug. Unless she snapped out of the coma soon, she'd be dead. And Louis had no idea what he was ever going to do if she did. He really had no idea...

Louis chewed on his lip with every second that passed he became more and more fearful, and more and more hope drained from him.

By now all coloured had pretty much drained from Tellie, her heart was beating but she was hardly alive. And Louis knew that. He knew she was practically dead. The moment that machine was flicked off she'd be gone. But Louis still had some hope. A small part him that thought in a couple of days he'd see his daughter awake again.

But even the doctors-medical experts-couldn't see Tellie being alive without life support. Which meant they were waiting like hawks to pull the plug and watch the fourteen year old die.

"...Have you left here at all?" Harry snapped, he made sure he kept his eyes on Louis as he stood in the hospital, not daring to even look at Tellie.

"Last night..." Louis admitted with a shrug. He cared nothing for whatever Harry was going to say. He hadn't cared about what anybody wanted to say. Everyone seemed to try and prompt him to leave the hospital room, everyone but Chantelle and Niall, because they understood perfectly well what Louis was going through. The tragic thought of knowing the wonderful creation you brought into the world would soon be leaving. Knowing you were going to loose a child.

"Sure you did." Harry scoffed. He slightly looked to Tellie automatically looking away not daring to look at her again. All he could think of was the innocent three year old who had always looked up at him with a smile and called him "Uncle Harry". He saw the little girl who used to sit in his lap on the tour bus. He saw the girl who was always backstage at concerts. He loved her. The way someone loves their family. But after all, as far as Tellie had ever been concerned Harry was her family, the same way Niall, Zayn and Liam had been.

"I did." Louis responded monotone. "Ask El-"

"Going home for half and hour hardly counts." Harry cut in. He hated seeing his friend like this, but he could understand. He was sure both of his parents would stay by his side if anything that happened to Tellie had happened to him.

"I'm sorry but there's only two ways I'm ever going to leave here." Louis said bluntly. He folded his arms delicately across his chest, slouching in the seat he'd spend most of his time in. He looked away from Harry his eyes falling on Tellie.

"I know..." Harry muttered. "But mate sitting her for days isn't the best thing-what would Tellie want...?"

The words we're enough to make Louis snap, his eyes going dark as he glared at Harry, his knuckles cracking as he rose from the seat.

"Don't ask me what "Tellie would want"," He hissed. "It doesn't matter. What matters is that's my child and don't think for a second I will leave her alone. Because the moment I do, she will wake up or die. And I need to be here. Even if she's dying... At least I can know its real... And at least, I can know, that the last breath she took I was there for her, the way I should've been more often-"

"She's already dead Louis!" Harry cut in. "I'm sorry but she's dead. She's not breathing a machine is doing it for her! She shouldn't be kept alive because you can't face the fact she's dead! Just let her die... How much more do you think her body can take?"

Louis stiffened, his jaw locking in place as he straightened out his jacket.

"She's alive." Louis hissed. "Her heart, is beating, her lungs are working-she's alive!"
