Phil sat himself down on the sofa, still rubbing his head. Dan sat down beside him, turning on the TV.

"What animes do you watch Phil? Ever heard of Yuri!!! on Ice?"
"I haven't. What is it?"
"Homo erotic iceskating."
"I'm interested."

Dan walked over to the TV, and popped in a disc (1 - I love YOI with all my heart and soul, and don't worry, I'm not going to spoil it. 2 - I nearly wrote "dick" instead of "disc")

The first episode started playing, and Phil watched with an amused, confused, yet intrigued expression. The episode played on and finally finished, when Phil asked to play the next one, Dan knew that he had gotten Phil into Yuri on Ice.

So they spent the entire day binge-watching the 12 episodes, and when they ended, Phil demanded a season 2.
"IF THEY DONT MAKE SEASON 2 I WILL LITERALLY DIE."
"Don't worry, Philly, there's a movie in the making."
"Thank the Lord."
"If they left it at that it would be just cruel."

Time passed as Phil got used to the flat and Dan in the flesh, just appreciating his existence next to him. Dan was scrolling through Tumblr, in the couch crease he had created over the months of living there. He was in what he called his "browsing position". Phil wondered how the hell that didn't hurt Dan's back.

After a little while, it was time to eat dinner, but rather than having some shitty microwave food, Dan took Phil into London for his first dinner in town. The place was a modern restaurant with a bar where all the manly men sat drinking beer and watching soccer (football, for all of you Brits). Of course neither Dan nor Phil joined them, they just took a table in the corner and ordered some food.

"So, Phil," Dan said, taking a sip of his water, "what is there that I don't know about you?"
"Well, lets see..." Phil said, stroking his chin. "I was a demon child?"
"Huh...?"
"When I was a little kid I would stand at the side of my parents' bed and watch them sleep, which they found creepy. Luckily for you, I've grown way out of that habit."
"Interesting..." Dan said, slightly mortified by this newly obtained imformation. "When I was a kid, I got sunstroke."
"What's that?"
"When you are in the sun for way too long and it makes you feel... basically like you're drunk and have a hangover at the same time. Lots of vomiting."
"Well, if I'm ever in the sun without sunscreen, I will definitely get sunburn."
"Yeah, I could imagine, you're a ghostly pale, wait - ARE YOU A GHOST?" Dan joked, poking Phil multiple times as if to check that his body was there.
"I don't think so, Dan," Phil laughed, "But I don't blame you for thinking so. I think I'd know if I was dead."
"Yeah, sure, you'd totally realize."
"Well I'm sorry if I'm not the brightest!"
"Yeah, you're probably the dullest."
"Da-an!" He whined like a child, stomping his foot down.
"I'm kidding!" Dan chuckled, kicking Phil's leg under the table. Their legs were already touching, because both of them were a gigantic height, but kicking just made it worse.
"Stop it!" Phil groaned, kicking him back with a smirk.
"It's on, Phil!"
"On like Donkey Kong!"

They commenced to have a kicking fight under the table at a restaurant, and when the waitress returned with the check, she was utterly confused. She gave them an odd look while handing them the check, both Dan and Phil went red and became very quiet.
"Sorry," Phil mumbled, then realizing that saying sorry in this situation didn't really make sense.

Dan quickly took the check, putting his credit card in before Phil could offer to pay. As the waitress walked away Dan and Phil broke down laughing at themselves.

"Holy shit that was awkward," Dan said, chuckling. "Why'd you apologize, Phil? That made it weirder!
"It was my automatic response!"
"It's dangerous for us to be together at the same time in public."
"Oh, well, London will just have to deal with it."
"Watch out, London! Here come Dan and Phil!" Dan announced dramatically, throwing his hands in the air, just in time for the waitress to return with Dan's credit card... and get slapped in the face.
"Holy-I am so sorry!" Dan said, quickly withdrawing his arms.
"No, it's okay, sir," the waitress said, giving him a small smile.
"I really am sorry, it was an accident."
"It's okay, just... here's your credit card back, have a nice evening."

She walked away and Phil burst out laughing, tears springing to his eyes.
"Oh... my... God! That was so... awkward!" Phil spluttered in between laughs. Dan just sat there, smirking, or he found his awkwardness less hilarious in that moment.

"London really does need to look out for Dan and Phil...." He mumbled, smiling.
