Phil laid on his bed, staring at the ceiling. It took him a moment to process what had happened back at George's house, but then his brain registered it.
"Holy fuck we kissed," he said aloud, then, "holy fuck, I think I'm in love."

He sprinted out of his room, and found Dan and Louise right where he left them. Luckily for the other two, they had gotten back before Phil decided to come barreling in.
"GUYS I'M IN LOVE I THINK!" He shouted, "I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY I'M TELLING YOU LOUISE, BUT SINCE YOU'RE DAN'S FRIEND I TRUST YOU."

Dan put on a smile, mixed with a dash of confusion.
"You okay there, Phil?"
"MAYBE? I'VE NEVER BEEN GOOD AT HIDING FEELINGS!" He shouted again.
"Woah woah, slow down, Phil. Start from the beginning," Louise said, sitting Phil down and turing off the movie for the second time that night.

"Okay, well, I was hanging out with George and we had a lot of fun I whopped his ass in Mario kart and we were taking and stuff and we both said how we've never kissed anyone I mean actually he's just never had a kiss with someone and enjoyed it anyways that's not that point the point is that we kissed and there was something there at least for me," he got out, having to breathe afterwards because he just splurted all that out. Louise threw a sorry look at Dan before going back to Phil.
"Okay, and why're you worried?"
"Well I have no idea if he even likes me back, I mean he's gay, but does he feel the same way about me?"
"Well, considering you kissed," Dan chimed in (HAVENT YOU PEOPLE EVER HEARD OF-).
"Yeah, but it was just to do it, you know? I'm not sure if he even thinks of me that way," he sighed.
"Ask him," Dan said, shrugging. "What else do you have to lose?"
"Our friendship!" Phil said, as if it were the most obvious thing ever. "If he doesn't feel the same way, if gets super weird and our friendship could be totally ruined."
"Phil, you're not in high school anymore," Dan pointed out, "if he doesn't feel the same way, then so what? You've already proven to have a pretty good bond, and I'm not sure that can be broken by some awkwardness." Phil looked up to Dan, smiling a little. He sighed happily,
"You're right, Dan. I mean, I'm not going to ask immediately, but I'll give it some time, I suppose. I'll get to know him more before I risk asking," he said to himself more than anyone else. "Thanks guys, I needed some support." Louise nodded and Dan gave Phil a quick hug, before he went off once again.

"Dan-" Louise started.
"Don't even," he shushed her, turning on the movie once again.

Dan awoke Phil shaking him awake. He noticed that he was wearing his glasses, and his hair was uncombed an a bit messy.

Cute.

He groaned and got out of bed, allowing the cold to envelope around him.
"Put on a shirt, or else I die from your hunkiness," Phil joked, throwing a t-shirt at Dan, who slipped it over his head.

Once in the kitchen, Dan opened the cabinet to grab his cereal, but discovered it to have disappeared.
"What? I bought that like, two days ago," he said to himself, scratching his head. He settled for toaster waffles, along with his coffee. It was back to a normal day of being alone in the flat.

Once Phil left, he had about an hour before he began work, so he used it to sing to himself as loud or quiet as he pleased. He scrolled through endless memes. He decided to do some stalkerish research on Phil's crush. Since he had never met the guy, he deserved to know about him a little bit.

He found George's twitter account, and scrolled through the photos he had posted. It was mostly just some vacation shots or just random resturant or friend pictures. One caught his atenttion, it was a photo in a dim-lit bar, a selfie with a smiling Phil. It was from when they went out to dinner together. Dan breathed in, of course he was jealous of the guy, but he couldn't blame George for anything, it wasn't his fault. Still, he couldn't help but be a little angry at the photo where the two seemed so close. As if they had been best friends for years.

He continued to scroll.

He found photos from years before, of George with another man, and them kissing. It was captioned:

Two years with the light of my life! I love you Jeremy!

For whatever reason, Dan's mind considered that maybe George was still dating this Jeremy guy, but the photo had been posted almost two years previously. Dan's mind ran wild with thoughts of how maybe George would break Phil's heart, and then Phil would be his. He then became frightened by his own envious thoughts. Eventually, Dan decided that George and Jeremy had broken up, since the most recent of the photos of the two were so old. Was this the toxic relationship that Phil had said that George had mentioned?
"I wonder how much he got hurt. Maybe we can't relate in emotional pain," he thought aloud, laughing dryly at his own joke.

He decided to stop stalking the guy's account, realizing just how weird it was. He was looking through his crush's crush's account....

"Time to resume normal activity," he told himself, closing out the tab.

Okay, so I said I was gonna post every three days, but I really want you guys to read this ending and everything, so maybe I'll do every two days or even maybe everyday? I'm just so proud of this book, it's like my child, and I really want you guys to read the last few chapters! So yeah, updates wil be more frequent :3
