"It's all done!" My mum exclaimed as we walked back into the apartment room. "Time to get down by the pool I think" she said excitedly.

I ran to the wardrobe and pulled out my purple bikini that I had brought especially for this holiday. I ran into the bathroom to get changed and was ready to get out of the door and into the pool in less than 5 minutes. So instead of waiting for the rest of my family I grabbed the towels and said I would get four sunbeds for them all to use; whilst everyone else was getting into their swimming clothes.

I grabbed the towels and a bottle of water, and made my way down the corridor, smiling as the sound of my flip flops echoed down the path.

As I turned round the corner, I saw a big group of people getting into the elevator, and my heart skipped a beat at what I thought I saw.

It was only brief, but just before the elevator doors closed, I was certain that I had seen... no It couldn't have been... but I was sure he looked just like him... there is no way that could have been Josh Cuthbert.

I shook my head and told myself to stop being stupid, there is no way that my favourite boy in the whole world would be staying at their apartments. I told myself to stop letting my imagination get the better of me, and try and forget about him (which was pretty impossible).

I hadn't even realised that the whole time I had been thinking, I had also been walking down to the swimming pool. Now I stood in front of the pool and, looking around, I realised that the whole place was absolutely packed, there were no free sunbeds at all.

I sighed and decided to sit on the plastic chairs that were next to the poolside, not as comfortable, but at least it was somewhere to put all the things.

I sat on the chair, put my sunglasses on, and grabbed a magazine out of my bag that I had brought at the airport. I was planning on reading it on the plane, but it was such a bad flight, with loads of turbulence, I couldn't relax and enjoy reading it.

I slowly began flicking through, looking at the latest celebrity gossip and the newest fashion trends, when my family came over and my dad jumped straight into the swimming pool.

"I will watch the bags and things if you want to go and have a swim, Lily" my mum smiled.

I wasn't going to say no, so I threw off my sunglasses and flip flops and jumped straight into the pool. The water was so cold and welcoming, so much so that I stayed underwater for as long as I could until I had to come up for air. The feeling of freedom in the water was something I loved more than anything, swimming was one of my ultimate favourite things to do; I could stay in the pool forever.

I had been in the swimming pool for about an hour, playing catch with my sister and swimming many lengths of the pool, when I started to feel quite hungry. I decided to get out, grab my bag and go up to the bar where I had seen people buying trays of chips to take down to the pool.

Whilst I was waiting in line, I looked around and saw a huge marble staircase going from the reception, up to the first floor. I assumed that there were just offices up there, but there were no signs saying it was private so I was curious. Once I brought my food I decided to go and have a look around the whole apartment complex.

The first place I decided to explore was the marble staircase I had seen whilst waiting in line. When I got to the top of the stairs I was met by a couple of offices, presumably for the manager and staff, but to my right was a big glass double door. I walked up to see what was in there and I saw a huge room with lots of sofas and music quietly playing in the background; there was a sign on the door saying 'Lounge area'.

As I walked into the room I looked up at the pictures on the walls, mainly of the resort, and I noticed a large sliding door, that led out onto a balcony. I decided to walk out and see what was round the corner.

The heat hit me as soon as I stepped outside, and the brightness of the sun was so intense that it blinded me for a second and I walked straight into something with such force that I fell backwards, my chips flying up into the air and spilling all over the balcony.

I hit the ground and groaned as I slowly sat up, rubbing the back of my head to try and ease the pain.

"Are you ok?" A concerned voice asked me. I looked up to see who it was I had bumped into, and who was now kneeling down next to me, and the sight I saw in front of me made me gasp and nearly faint from shock.
