I got up out of bed, still in shock about the newspaper article, reading it over and over again until I decided it was time for me to get up and get ready for the day. I went into the bathroom to change into my bikini and whilst I was in there I heard a knock at the door, followed by footsteps and the door opening;

"Hello?" I heard my mum say, in a questioning tone.

"Hi... Umm, is Lily here?" Asked a voice, it was muffled because they were outside the door so I couldn't make out who it was, I could only make out what they were saying.

"She is in the bathroom at the minute, umm, who are you though?" I heard my mum ask.

"Oh sorry, my name is George Shelley. I'm in the same band as Josh. I need to talk to Lily as soon as possible, could you please tell her that I will be down in the bar area and ask her to meet me there?"

I literally fell to the floor. My knees buckled and I had to sit down, struggling to comprehend what was happening. Before I could truly figure it out, I heard Lucy running out of the bedroom into the living room, followed by my mum laughing.

"George... Oh my goodness I can't believe you are here. It's you. I love you so much" I could hear her struggling to control her words and I smiled to myself, way to act cool Lucy I thought to myself.

Before George could reply, I stood up and opened the bathroom door, walking out to the living area where I could see George and my mum sat on the sofa, whilst my sister was still standing in the doorway, froze to the spot. I smiled at her and gave her a nudge.

"Hi George" I said, "I heard what you were saying, is Josh ok?" I spoke as calmly as I could, trying not to freak out that George was standing right in front of me. It was hard enough to keep calm knowing I was Josh Cuthbert's girlfriend, now I had George Shelley sitting in my apartment room on holiday.

"Umm... Is it ok if we go and talk in private please?" George asked, looking worried. His expression made me feel uneasy.

"Yeh sure, shall we go for a walk?" I offered, gesturing towards the door.

"Sounds good" he replied, standing up and walking towards me, "Thank you for letting me in Mrs Smith, bye Lucy." He smiled at my sister and winked at her, she's going to die I thought to myself, giggling in my mind.

Once we got outside the room and down the corridor George stopped and turned to me, "Lily, I'm worried. Me and Josh were planning on coming back to the apartments today and surprising you because the assault situation has been sorted out and so he is able to come back on holiday. He asked me to come because he knew my holiday had been cancelled. Anyway, we got off the plane in Palma early this morning, like 1am, and he said he was going to meet me on the coach because he needed to run to the toilet. I got on the coach and before I knew it the driver was pulling away, I tried to stop him but he didn't understand any English and so ignored me and left Josh at the airport. Josh still hasn't got here and he should be here right now, I'm really worried." He breathed a heavy sigh as he finished his last sentence, as if it was a huge relief that he had just told me what had happened.

I couldn't believe what he had just said. Josh was on the Island? He was coming back to surprise me? But now he is missing? Maybe stranded at the airport or something worse? So many thoughts were rushing through my head, I had to stay as calm as possible. I took a deep breath, steadying my voice "Have you tried ringing him or something?" I asked stupidly, of course he had, I just couldn't think what else to say.

"Yeh, I have. So many times. It just goes straight to voicemail. I think he might have lost it or it's ran out of charge" he sighed, worry increasingly spreading across his face.

"Ok, have you told his family any of this? Do they know he was coming back?" I asked, trying to think of a plan.

"No, he was going to surprise them as well, they still think he is in England. I feel like it's all my fault. I shouldn't have left him to get on the coach" he looked down at his shoes as he murmured the last few sentences.

"It's going to be ok" I consoled him, surprised by my own confidence and calm in this situation. I stood there, not knowing what else to say, until I had an idea. A stupid idea, but it could be good.

"Ok, I have an idea" I told George, who looked up at me as I spoke, "do you think Josh would still be at the airport if we were to go and get him, or would he try and get back here?" I asked.

George stood thinking for a moment, and then spoke, "I think he would still be at the airport. If me and the boys ever went anywhere, we always said that if anyone were to ever get lost, we would stay where we were and wait for the rest of the boys to come and find us."

"Well then, looks like we had better get going to the airport then" I grinned, ecstatically happy that Josh was here, I was going to see him again, I could hardly wait.

"A taxi would cost far too much money, and you have to book a transfer coach way in advance, otherwise that would be just as expensive" he said, looking exhausted.

"It's a good job I can drive then isn't it" I said, grinning at him.

He looked up at me, a smile spreading across his face. This quickly turned to a frown though, "But, don't you have to be 21 to hire out a car in a foreign country?" He asked.

"Well, yeh, you usually do. But we know people here, I know just where to go to get one sorted out. Don't worry, I do have a drivers licence" I giggled, he laughed along with me and a smile spread across his face. "Come on then, let's get going" I said, growing impatient already.

"Wait... Umm... Maybe your sister would want to come?" He looked at me with a cheeky grin and I rolled my eyes at him.

"I will go and get her" I said, "come on, you can come in, not losing you as well" I laughed.

We walked back to the room and I knocked on the door. Lucy answered and her eyes widened as she saw George standing behind me. "Are mum and dad here?" I asked, looking behind her into the room.

"No... they have... umm... they went to the swimming pool. Why?" She asked, trying to calm herself down. I walked into the room with George following me, we shut the doors behind us and I told Lucy to come out on the balcony with me, while George sat in the living area.

When we got outside, I turned to look at Lucy, "Ok, I need to ask you something. But you can only come if you promise you calm down around George, Ok?" I told her, trying not to laugh at the confusion on her face.

"What do you mean, where are you going?" She asked.

"Josh is stuck at the airport, we need to drive and go and get him" I explained, and a huge smile spread across her face.

"Oh my goodness! Josh is here, and George. We are going to get him. This is so exciting!" She squealed.

I laughed but tried to remain serious, "Yes, and George wants you to come, but you have to act normal around him, promise?" The biggest smile I had ever seen appeared on her face as I told her this, but she nodded her head and promised she would be ok.

I couldn't believe what was happening, but I was so excited and happy, I couldn't wait to get up to the airport and get Josh back in my arms again.
