A shadow blocked out the sun and distracted me long enough from Josh to realise the pedallo was drifting into the cliff side.

I broke away from his kisses, laughing and shouting at him to pedal. A look of complete confusion crossed his face, then he realised what was happening and quickly joined me in pedalling away from the cliff.

As soon as we were back into the open water we burst into fits of laughter.

"I...I can't believe we nearly hit those rocks" Josh laughed, trying to catch his breath. "Now, where were we?" he winked, coming closer to me again.

"We have 2 hours on this and... wait a minute, Josh, how long are you on holiday here for?" I asked, it suddenly dawned on me that we were not going to be on this island together, forever. I had to make the most of our time here.

"I'm here for 2 weeks, please tell me you are here for that amount of time as well" Josh asked, suddenly serious and holding my hands again.

A huge smile spread across my face. "Yes, I am, we have 2 whole weeks together!" I exclaimed excitedly.

"And we are not going to waste any second of it" Josh whispered in my ear, his warm breath sending shivers down my spine; he began kissing my neck again, slowly kissing up to my lips. I pulled away and he look at me disappointedly.

I giggled and quickly explained, "We only have 2 hours on this, we have 2 weeks to kiss, let's make the most of this pedallo while we have it" I laughed.

He looked at me with a cheeky grin, "2 weeks of kissing sounds perfect to me" following his sentence with a wink that made my heart skip a beat. I playfully pushed him, standing up and walking to the back of the boat where the steps to the slide were. He followed behind me, and asked me what was wrong when I hesitated at the bottom of the steps.

"Ok, I know this sounds stupid, but are you sure this is safe?" I asked, it didn't look very secure.

He started laughing at me and I scowled at him.

"Sorry, sorry" he laughed, "it's just that it's not very high, so if something did happen, you wouldn't fall very far into the sea"

"Ok then Mr confident, you go first" I giggled. He jumped onto the ladder and climbed up to the top, "3...2...1... GO!" I shouted, and he pushed off and flew down the slide, landing in the sea with a huge splash.

"Your turn now Lily!" I heard Josh laugh from the other side of the boat. I'm being silly I thought to myself. I grabbed hold of the ladder, and climbed up to the top. I sat on the top of the slide, looking down at Josh who was swimming round in the water at the bottom of the slide.

"Watch out, Josh" I laughed, and then pushed myself off. The slide was covered in water and so I slid quickly down, flying into the air and landing in the water with a huge splash. I surfaced out of the water, spluttering and giggling. Josh came swimming over to me, a look of concern on his face.

"Are you ok" he asked, taking hold of me to make sure I was ok.

"I'm fine, I'm fine" I laughed, "that was so much fun!" Relief crossed his face and he laughed with me.

"I told you there was nothing to worry about" he said, taking hold of my hand and swimming back to the steps at the back of the boat. We used the slide for about 30 minutes but began to soon get tired, so we decided to lay in the centre of the boat, cuddled up next to each other looking at the bright blue sky.

"Lily, what's your favourite song?" Josh asked suddenly, turning to look at me.

I had never really thought about what my favourite ever song was, I loved a lot of songs. But I guess there was one particular song that always meant a lot to me.

"If I had to pick just one, I guess I would pick Keane's song, Everybody's changing. It's a song I always associated with Majorca and my amazing memories here. Every time I listen to it I'm happy, that's what I love about music. The way that you can listen to one song and a hundred memories can come flooding back to you. It's like it triggers something in your mind, and you are able to not only remember, but also forget about everything bad happening in the world. Listening to a song can drown out reality, and for those few minutes that the song is playing, it's like you are free." I let out a heavy sigh, like I had just revealed one of my greatest secrets.

"Wow. I work in the music industry, but I have never really heard someone describe music in that way. It all makes sense, and completely sums up exactly how I feel about music. In Union J, I want to be able to make songs that can affect people in that way; by listening to them, they are able to feel happy, away from the stresses of reality".

"And that's exactly what you are doing" I replied to Josh, "you have no idea how many people's lives Union J has affected. You have helped so many people through difficult times in their lives, and they are so unbelievably thankful they have you." I smiled and took his hand, "so, what is your favourite song?" I asked him, curious as to what his answer would be.

"I'm going to be completely honest with you, and you might find this hard to believe. But I don't have a favourite song. I listen to so many songs, I can't possibly pick a favourite out of all of them."

I stared at him in disbelief.

"I can't believe that" I exclaimed, "surely there is a song that really means a lot to you?"

He laughed, "there really isn't, not yet at least" he grinned at me. He leant over me, blocking the harsh sun rays, moving a stray piece of hair covering my face. He kissed me softly, making my heart soar and flutter like a thousand birds. I kissed him back, completely overwhelmed by the intensity of the feelings I felt towards him.

"You... you don't realise what you do to me" I laughed, in between his kisses.

"What do you mean" he asked, before proceeding to kiss my nose, my forehead and my ears. I giggled.

"I'm surprised you can't hear my heart right now, I think it's literally going to burst" I laughed. He took my hand and placed it on his chest, right above his own heart which was beating just as fast as mine, if not faster.

"And I don't think you realise exactly what you do to me" he replied, pulling me close for a cuddle. He wrapped his arms around me in a huge bear hug, cradling me against his chest, allowing our hearts to settle down to a normal pace.

We had been laying there for what seemed to be just 5 minutes, when Josh looked at his watch and exclaimed we had just 10 minutes to get the pedallo back to the beach. I groaned. "I could literally stay here forever" I sighed, untangling myself from Josh, and sluggishly walking over to the plastic seats where the pedals were.

"So could I beautiful, so could I" he replied wistfully, joining me on the other chair. We began pedalling back to the beach, carefully dodging the swimmers as we manoeuvred the boat back to the sand. The Spanish man greeted us back at the beach, happy to see us back on time. We thanked him and walked back up the beach, heading back to the apartments.

Josh turned to me, a look of sadness on his face, "I may not get to see you this evening, Lily" he told me, looking down at the ground.

"Oh, why not?" I asked, not even bothering to hide my disappointment.

"Me and my family are going out of Cala D'or, to a restaurant a few resorts away. We probably won't be back till very late" he replied, looking at me with sadness in his eyes. I squeezed his hand, smiling up at him.

"It's fine, you are on holiday with your family after all" I giggled, putting my arm around his waist as he placed his over my shoulders.

He smiled back at me, "I know, I am going to miss you like crazy though" he said, kissing my cheek and pulling me as close as possible while we walked.

We walked back to the apartments, holding each other close and talking about anything and everything that could possibly come into our heads. I was going to miss him, but it would give me a nice chance to spend some good time with my family; even though I knew I was going to be bombarded with questions over this evenings meal.
