The warm water cascaded down my skin and my mind was suddenly filled with regret about saying that Josh couldn't come in the shower with me. I imagined his dripping wet body standing next to me, hugging and kissing him just like we had in the rain, this time with nothing to cover our skin Lily, stop! I told myself. Stopping my mind run away with itself.
I quickly washed and got out of the shower, wrapping the towel around me and heading out of the bathroom, into the bedroom. Josh was sat on the bed and looked up as I entered, his eyes taking note of just a towel covering me. He bit his lower lip and told me to shut the door behind me; I did as he told me to and walked over to where he was sat, not taking my eyes off of him for a second.
Knock... Knock...Knock.
Me and Josh groaned at the same time, taking our eyes off of one another and looking at the door as it slowly opened.
"Only me" George said, letting himself in and blushing as he saw me in just a towel and Josh laid on the bed. "Oops, I didn't mean to disturb, umm" he looked down at the ground like he didn't know what to do and I burst out laughing. He looked so innocent and shocked.
"It's ok George, don't worry" I assured him, wrapping my towel a bit more closely around me, "what's up?" I asked.
"I know what's up" Josh moaned, turning over. I burst out laughing at his pun and threw a nearby pillow at him, making him laugh and mumble into his pillow, something about bad timing.
I looked back at George who rolled his eyes, stifling a giggle at what Josh said. "I was going to see if you two were ready for breakfast?" He asked, "Lucy is making some bacon and eggs."
"Oh that sounds lovely, we will be there in a minute" I told him, grabbing my clothes.
"Ok, see you in a bit" replied George, heading back out of the door and shutting it behind him. When he was gone Josh groaned and looked up at me. I turned around and began to get dressed.
"Oh you are such a tease" moaned Josh, putting his head back down on the pillow.
I giggled and threw his clothes at him, "I'm hungry" I said.
"Well so am I, just not for food!" Josh grumbled, grabbing his clothes and sitting up, starting to get ready.
I laughed at him and began putting my hair up into a messy bun. When it was sorted, Josh was ready and I slowly walked up to him, wrapping my arms around his waist and staring into his eyes. I leant forward and whispered into his ear, "last night was amazing." I pulled away, looking into his wide eyes and turned around, walking towards the door.
"Lily, you are killing me" he groaned, chasing behind me and grabbing my waist in his arms. I jumped out of them giggling and headed down the corridor towards the kitchen with Josh close behind me.
"Just in time!" Lucy exclaimed as we walked in. She had a plate of bacon in one hand and a tray of toast in the other, whilst George was making us all steaming mugs of coffee. The smell made my stomach rumble and I quickly sat down at the table, grabbing some toast and bacon and putting them on my plate in front of me.
"Thank you so much for this, both of you" I said, taking a bite of the food as George handed me a mug of coffee.
"George told me you were both feeling quite hungry this morning" she giggled, and I realised George had told her everything, I started to blush and looked down at my food to try and hide my bright red face.
"Some more hungry than others" winked Josh, looking at me and putting his hand under the table to stroke my thigh.
My heart jumped at the touch and couldn't believe he still had such an effect on me. He kept his hand there for the whole of breakfast, making me unable to concentrate on the conversation between us all. We soon finished and we all got up to wash our plates and mugs up, as we did so I glanced at Josh as he reluctantly took his hand from my leg, our eyes met and he looked at me longingly. I winked back at him and walked over to the sink, helping Lucy wash up whilst Josh joined George to help dry up.
