The rest of the day was spent with us all splashing around in the pool, playing games and genuinely having the best time. But all the while I couldn't stop thinking about Josh's surprise for us all.

We had decided to all meet in the hotel reception area at 5pm, so at about 4pm me and my sister headed back to the room to get ready for the evening. We told our parents our plans, and they were just happy we had told him what was happening and said they would see us either later on tonight or the next day. We left them by the pool and headed up to the room.

"What do you think the surprise is going to be?" Lucy asked me eagerly, looking at me with excitement.

"I have no idea" I replied, "but I can't wait to find out!"

"Yeh, but I don't know what to wear" Lucy moaned. I hadn't even thought about that. We got into the room and I ran into the bedroom, opening up my wardrobe and staring at it blankly. I wanted to wear my nicest outfit, but when I looked at everything, nothing stood out to me as being special. Lucy joined me, opening her wardrobe and doing exactly the same thing.

"Help me decide?" I asked her, looking at her pleadingly. She smiled back and joined me.

"Ok, we need to find you something that will really make Josh stare" she giggled, searching through my clothes.

"Got it" she said triumphantly, reaching to the back of the wardrobe and pulling an item of clothing out. She took out the dress I had completely forgot about because I vowed I would never wear it. It was a ridiculously short, crimson red, skater dress that I had brought without really thinking about what it was like.

"No... no way am I wearing that. Have you seen how short it is?!" I complained, staring at Lucy in shock.

"Come on, it's beautiful, and Josh will love it on you. It's not that short" She moaned back, pushing the dress towards me. "We can match it with red lipstick and I will do your hair for you, please Lily, I promise you won't regret it."

I stood looking at it for a few moments and decided I would just try it on to please my sister, but told her to try and find something else I could wear instead. I headed into the bathroom, had a shower, and then put the dress on. I felt... Different in it. Strange but good different. I walked outside and looked in the full length mirror, before I could think or say anything, Lucy walked around the corner and whistled, "Josh is going to die when he sees you in that!" She giggled. It did compliment me, but I had never worn anything so revealing before, I was undecided.

"Did you find anything else for me to wear?" I asked Lucy, turning to look at her. She stared back at me in astonishment.

"You are joking aren't you? There is no way you are changing out of that!" She pouted, putting her hands on her hips to emphasise her demand.

I laughed at her and knew there was no way she was going to let me change out of this dress. "Fine, fine, but you need to do my hair now" I giggled back at her, sitting in the chair next to us and handing her the straighteners.

Lucy took them out of my hands and styled my hair into loose curls, then covered my hair in hairspray to keep it looking as good as possible in the humidity. "Ok, now put on your make up whilst I get dressed, do not look in the mirror until I come back though, promise?" She asked me, holding out her finger to pinkie promise like we used to do when we were younger. I shook it with mine, laughing and promising not to move.

She took  what seemed like ages in the shower, and whilst she was on there a sprayed on a little bit of my favourite perfume and put on my tiny locket necklace. When she finally came out I looked at her with my mouth open. "I think George is going to be the one dying when he sees you!" I laughed. She was wearing a tight, short black dress that hugged her figure perfectly.

"Not as much as Josh when he sees you! Ok, come on, it's time to show you the new Lily" She giggled, grabbing my arm and taking me towards the mirror, telling me to keep my eyes closed. "Ok, you can open them now" she told me enthusiastically.

When I opened my eyes I hardly recognised the reflection staring back at me. Even I had to admit the dress suited me well; my red lips matched the material perfectly, and the loose curls of my hair added a casual, yet special look to the outfit. I stared at the reflection, not knowing what to say, when Lucy came behind me with some cute, black, kitten heeled shoes. "I know you don't like wearing heels, but these are tiny" she told me, handing over her shoes for me to borrow.

I put them on and they completed the outfit perfectly, and the heel was so small I felt like I could comfortably walk in them. "Thank you, Lucy!" I said, giving her a huge hug.

"You're welcome" She replied, "now come and help me with my hair, I think I just want it to be straightened."

I finished off her hair and she applied her makeup, and when we were both finished I took my phone off of charge and took a picture of us both, giggling as we took a bunch of selfies. Just as we finished my mum and dad walked in and stood in the doorway staring at us both like they hardly recognised us. "You... you both look stunning!" Cried my mum, giving us both a hug whilst my dad stood still, looking overwhelmed.

"Thank you mum" I giggled, "but we need to go now, we need to meet George and Josh in the bar area."

"Have a brilliant time, both of you!" Called my mum as I put my phone in my bag and we both headed out the door.

"Bye" we shouted at the same time, shutting the door behind us.

We walked down the corridor in silence, with just the sound of our heels on the marble floor echoing around us. When we got to the door at the entrance to the bar, I stopped and grabbed my sisters arm, "are you sure Josh is going to like me in this, it's not too much is it?" I asked her, suddenly and strangely feeling nervous about him seeing me like this.

"You need to stop worrying, Lily. He loves you, and he is going to love you even more, if that's possible, in that dress!" She assured me, gesturing for me to walk through the door first.

I took a deep breath and slowly opened the door, walking through with Lucy right behind me. I spotted George and Josh straight away, waiting at the bar for us, their backs turned to us whilst they talked to the barman. It was the barman who saw us first and he took a double glance, making me start to blush. He nodded towards us and George and Josh slowly turned around.

Josh's eyes met mine and his mouth dropped, making me giggle slightly. Seeing his face calmed me and gave me some confidence. I carried on walking over to him and he stood up from the bar stool, wide eyed and grinning. "You... You look stunning, beautiful" he whispered as I got close to him, biting his lip after he spoke and blushing slightly.

"Thank you" I whispered back, kissing him and wrapping my arms around his waist, smiling at the fact I made him blush. I was suddenly extremely excited to see what the surprise was going to be, I could hardly wait to get going.
