The rest of the day was spent messing around in the swimming pool, laughing and having lots of fun. The day went so quickly that it wasn't until I glanced up at the clock on the bar wall that I realised the time. People were slowly starting to leave the pool area, heading back to their rooms to get ready, so we got out of the swimming pool and walked up to where my parents were laid.

"What time are we going out tonight?" I asked, sitting down on the sun bed next to them.

"Oh, we are planning on just having dinner in the apartments tonight and watch all of the entertainment this evening" she told me, glancing up at us all.

"Oh ok, that sounds quite good actually" I said, smiling and turning round to head back to Lucy, George and Josh. They had overheard the conversation and were smiling at me.

"I have an idea!" George exclaimed, a huge grin on his face, "we should go to the karaoke bar just down the road, will be funny!"

"That sounds like a brilliant idea!" I laughed, looking at Josh and Lucy who were smiling and giggling at the idea of us all singing karaoke.

"Me and Lily can't sing at all though" giggled Lucy, looking at Josh and George as she spoke.

"I'm sure you are not that bad" laughed Josh, wrapping his arms around my waist.

The sun was already starting to go down and none of us could really be bothered to go and get dressed for the evening, so instead we headed to the karaoke bar in just our swimming clothes.

"We look so stupid" whispered George as we headed down the street, getting a few funny looks from the people walking past us.

"We are on holiday, it's fine" laughed Josh, putting his arm over George's shoulder. They were so close, it was really like they were brothers.

I linked arms with my sister and we all headed quickly to the karaoke bar, hearing the music as soon as we got round the corner. A woman with short brown hair was standing up singing 'I wanna dance with somebody' by Whitney Houston. Everyone was clapping and giggling as she became more and more animated in her performance. I started to feel nervous as I saw that the karaoke bar was packed with lots of people, drinking and laughing. But I wasn't going to show them my nerves so I put on a brave face and we headed towards a free table near the front of the bar. The barman came over and we ordered 4 cokes for us all, and asked for the song book with the list of songs available for us to sing.

He came back with the drinks and the book and we quickly started flicking through, George started laughing and pointed down at the book. We all looked at what he was pointing at;

Union J- Carry You

We all looked at each other and laughed, "shall we do it?" Asked Lucy, looking at us all.

"Yeh, why not!" Replied Josh, taking the book over to the man running the karaoke and telling him what song we wanted to sing. The man looked up at Josh, he looked a bit confused as he stared at Josh, like he recognised him from somewhere but couldn't think where. He put our names down on the machine, and told Josh we will be up next.

That time came sooner than I expected and nearly as soon as Josh sat back down, our names were read out and we were handed a microphone each. We walked up to the stage in front of the karaoke TV and I looked out at the many faces, their eyes all on us. Me and Lucy stood a tiny bit further behind, whilst George and Josh stood right in front. They looked so comfortable, so at home here, and I knew that this is what they loved doing more than anything else in the world; standing up in front of a crowd of people, and singing. The music for carry you started playing, booming out from the speakers next to me. The familiar music calmed me a little bit and before I knew it the lyrics appeared on the screen and George and Josh began singing, their amazing voices echoing down the street. People started stopping as they walked past to stand and listen, and everyone started clapping along in time to the music. Me and Lucy joined in almost silently at the back, just enjoying the atmosphere and loving hearing them sing.
