After about an hour on the rocks, we decided to head back to the apartments for a couple of hours by the pool before we had to go and get ready for this evenings meal. As much as I tried, I just couldn't get rid of the feeling of missing Josh out of mind, it was an aching feeling, every time I tried to forget I would get hit by memories of our time together.

When we got back to the apartments, aqua aerobics was just about to start and me and Lucy decided to go and join in. We stood in the middle of the swimming pool and pitbull's new song started playing from the speakers; the entertainment team started dancing and we had to copy their movements. It was so much fun and me and my sister were giggling the whole time.

When we finished, I realised I had been standing next to Josh's mum the whole time and she turned to smile at me when the music stopped.

Before she could speak I apologised for the picture in the newspaper, trying to explain that the headline was not true at all.

"It's ok, I know what happened. Josh explained it all to me before he left. You are his girlfriend, I am so happy for you both" she said, stopping me from mumbling on about how sorry I was. Her smile was warm and approachable, like Josh's. I felt comfortable around her and was so happy she was ok about it all.

"Have you heard anything from Josh?" I asked, curious as to if he had mentioned anything about me to her.

"No, I'm afraid I haven't. Their manager rang me earlier just to let me know he is extremely busy sorting this all out, but he is ok. He told me to tell you he loves you" she told me, smiling from ear to ear.

I smiled back, hating not being with him but so thankful he was thinking of me. "Thank you for letting me know. I have to go now though, I need to get ready for this evening" I told her, looking at the time.

"That's fine" she replied, "don't worry about Josh, you are perfect for each other." She smiled and headed back over to her family. I turned around at my sister who had been standing behind us, clearly listening to what we were talking about.

"His family seems lovely, Lily" she told me, giving me a big hug.

"I know, his mum is so nice" I smiled, hugging her back.

We both got out of the pool to find our parents packing up their towels, getting ready to head back to the room to get ready. We joined them and headed up to the apartment. I showered and got dressed and when me and my sister were ready we decided to go down to the games room to have a game of air hockey before my mum and dad were ready to go out.

We walked into the games room and, annoyingly, bieber boy and the JJ look-a-like were down there, playing pool. I was tempted to walk straight back out again but I didn't want to look like a coward so I walked in first, head held high. Lucy was reluctant to follow but came in after me when she saw my confidence.

The two boys looked at me walking in and fell silent, this made me smile as I walked straight over to the air hockey table, putting 1 euro in to get started with the game. We had 2 games, me winning both of them, all the time the boys didn't speak a word. That was until the bieber boy came over to us, clearing his throat to get our attention.

"I'm... I'm sorry about what I did. I was stupid." He explained, not looking at me the whole time he spoke.

I was happy he apologised to me, but after what he did, I didn't feel like forgiving him. At least not at this moment in time. I simply looked him in the eyes and said, "You were stupid" and then walked out, Lucy running behind me to catch me up.

When we got to the reception we saw our parents waiting for us and were clearly pleased when they found us smiling and laughing, a look of relief crossed their faces and I hugged them both, happy to have my family around me.

-

We had a lovely meal out and now I laid in bed, everyone was asleep apart from me. I was missing Josh, and thinking back to the couple of nights before when everything had been so different. If only he could come knocking on the door again, everything would be ok. I drifted off into a restless sleep, occasionally waking up thinking I heard something at the door, only to be disappointed when I looked and no one was there.

-

"Lily... Lily... You have to wake up" My siste shouted, poking my arm to get me to look up.

"What... what is it?" I groaned, sitting up to see what it was she wanted. That was when I noticed the newspaper in her hand and a look of confusion swept across my face.

"Go to page 15!" She said, excited.

I flicked through to the page she wanted and a huge picture of Josh, smiling, took up a large section of the page, above it a big headline in bold writing;

JOSH REVEALS ALL ABOUT NEW GIRLFRIEND

I read over the headline again and again, a smile spreading across my face.

"Read the interview, read the interview!" Lucy instructed, pointing at the section of writing underneath;

So Josh, tell us everything!

Josh: There's not a lot to say really, it's simple. I love this girl with my whole heart. I don't care who knows and what people think. The media have made it sound like she is just a one night stand, but she's not. She is my girlfriend and I love her more than I have loved anyone before, more than I would have thought was possible. Because of the media, I have had to leave her there to come back to England, of course she is with her family, but I want to be there with her, always and forever. It pains me to be away from her, and right now as I speak, my heart hurts from being apart from her. Your readers may think I'm an idiot for saying all this, but like I have said, I don't care who knows.

Wow. She is one lucky girl.

Josh: I am one lucky boy [smiling]

And what's this about you 'assaulting' a paparazzi?

Josh: I am currently sorting that out, so I can't really talk about it. What I can say though is that it will be sorted out soon.

The interview was short but said everything that needed to be said. The fact he had done this made me cry out of complete happiness, to know he had explained how he felt to everyone made me feel proud and even more loved, yet made me miss him even more.

 All I could do was smile and hug my sister, who was laughing and hugging me tight. My mum and dad came in as well and my dad simply said; "You are a lucky girl, Lily. I'm happy for you, and Josh."
