We sit in silence for a few minutes whilst we try and figure out what to do. I look out of the window and see the other cars flying past us, "Lucy, does my phone show the nearest petrol station on the map?" I asked, turning to look at them both. She unlocked my phone and started searching around the map.

"There is one about 3 miles away from here, it would take us ages to walk there though" she told us, sounding exasperated. I couldn't believe how stupid I had been not to check the fuel gauge whilst we were driving, and now we were stuck in the middle of nowhere. Whilst I was thinking this I looked in my rear view mirror and saw a big family car pulling up behind us, and a man and what I assumed was his wife got out. George noticed at the same time as me and pulled down his window to see what they wanted.

"Hello, we noticed you at the side of the road and wondered if you needed some help?" Asked the woman, holding a cute baby in her arms.

"We have run out of fuel and the nearest station isn't for another 3 miles" I told them.

"Well we can go and get you some if you have the money?" Said the man, smiling friendly at us.

Thank goodness! I thought, "Thank you so much, if you are sure you don't mind?" I asked, so thankful that they had offered. They both nodded so I grabbed my purse and handed them a 50 Euro note. They took the money and promised they would be back soon.

When they had pulled away, George turned to me and said, "Are you sure that was such a good idea. Can we really trust them?"

I knew what he meant but we didn't really have any other choice, so I shrugged at him and said, "I hope so."

"Guys, I really need to go to the toilet" Lucy whispered. I looked around us, all I could see where bushes and the road, no toilets.

"If you are really desperate, I think you will have to go behind one of those bushes" I told her, pointing outside the truck.

She looked horrified but unlocked the truck door and got out, heading behind one of the bushes. "She really must have been desperate" I giggled to George, he laughed along with me but sounded quite strained.

"Are you ok?" I asked, turning to face him.

He looked at me and said, "Lucy is beautiful, I'm glad we invited her to come with us" smiling as he spoke.

I rolled my eyes, and he laughed. "She is an amazing sister, just don't tell her I said that" I giggled. I then noticed Lucy running back from behind the bushes, George got out of the truck and let her sit next to me, before jumping back in and locking the doors behind him. We sat waiting for a few minutes, listening  to the radio, before I noticed the families car coming back down the road towards us, indicating to pull back towards us.

I breathed out a sigh of relief and got out of the truck to take the fuel off of the family. I thanked them and they drove off, walking towards the back of the truck to put the fuel in. I filled it up and got back in the truck, starting it up.

It roared to life and the fuel gauge went to full, we all cheered and I pulled off, back onto the main road again. We followed the directions on the map until we got into Palma, and we saw the signs for the airport. As we got closer, butterflies started filling up in my stomach and my heart started beating faster and faster. I was so excited to see him again.

We found the car park and got parked up, I turned to George and asked, "Where do you think Josh will be?"

"I have no idea if I'm honest" replied George, "But I guess we could start by going to the arrivals lounge, there should be some coffee shops in there so we could go and see if he is around there."

That was when it sunk in how much of a risk this whole thing had been, we didn't even know if he was still going to be here. For all we know, he could be back at the apartments right now wondering where we all had gone to. I tried to shake away these feelings, and be as optimistic as possible, but it was hard.

We headed towards the arrivals lounge and the air conditioned building was a very welcoming feeling after the heat from outside. I took off my sunglasses as we entered and immediately started scanning the building, searching for Josh. George and Lucy were doing the same and after about 15 minutes of searching we decided to head into the starbucks to decide what to do next. We ordered our drinks, George and Lucy got coffees whilst I got a hot chocolate, and got a seat by the window; we watched a few planes land and take off and then I decided to go to the toilet. They looked happy to have some privacy so I decided to go to the public toilets out in the arrivals lounge, to give them some more time to have a good conversation; I smiled as I left, happy for them both.

The signs for the toilets led me down a flight of stairs and into a huge lounge filled with lots of little shops, I ran into the toilet and when I came out I decided to go and have a browse around a few of the shops. I decided to go straight into WHSmiths to buy some food and some chewing gum, as I walked down the aisles I came across the Union J calendar, the picture of Josh staring right at me. The sight brought a tear to my eye and I walked over to it, picking it up and flicking through the months.

"Lily?"

His voice. I thought it was in my mind until he called again. I slowly turned around to see Josh standing a few metres behind me, staring at me with tears in his eyes. "Josh" I breathed, running towards him and wrapping my arms around his neck, holding him close, never wanting to let him go again. He hugged me back as tightly as he could, then lent down and kissed me with such force he took my breath away. I never wanted to stop.

Eventually he pulled away, "I... I can't believe you are here, how, why?" He asked, laughing and crying into my hair, squeezing me as close to him as he could.

"George found me and we all drove here to get you, with Lucy" I told him, as he wiped the tears away from my eyes.

"You truly are amazing" he told me, kissing me again. I didn't even care that we were in the middle of a shop in the airport. I had Josh again. Nothing else mattered.
