I cannot have him.
For I am only
A Silvan Elf.
He is a High Elf
And I am unworthy.
His age
Exceeds mine
Ten times over
And he cannot
Be mine.
And I still wonder
Might things
Have gone as
I wished
If I was a
High Elf?
But is there another
To whom I may give
My love?
Sitting in a cage
With a little stone
Can I turn the page
Keep him from being
Alone?
