I can't help but

Stare

I can't help but

Feel something

When I see her

Her smile could

Light up the world

On the darkest night

I know that she is

Mine

But I don't know

If she is truly mine

Am I hers?

Is she mine?

In this day

Every night

I wonder

Who owns your heart

By the whisper of the weeping willow

And singing of the smoothest stream

When I think I see

Something in

Your eyes

You look away

And I am left

Unsure if I

Ever saw it at all

When will I

Prove myself to

You?

There is nobody

Like you

The way your

Hair shimmers

In the morning sun

And your eyes twinkle

In the evening stars

Your voice, smooth

And calm like

A river in the

Most serene forest

Your temper

Could set me aflame

And I wouldn't

Have it any other way.

For you are mine

And I am yours
