I watch you die

In my arms

And I cry

For your life

Stay with me

One more day

My nightingale

I was falling

And I was dying.

Yet I was at peace.

There is nothing I wish more than

To stay with you again.

But I will be content in

Singing for you

One last time.

Our hearts and fingers entwine

Our eyes meet, land and sea

As you move

To the skies above,

Remember that I love you.

I will never forget your face

When you were laughing

And crying.

Never will I love another.

I'm watching you now

From the stars above

Do not weep for me

I weep for you.

I send a light rain of my tears

And a sweet melody.

Remember the words, my love

For I will see you again.

You're in Heaven

Among the stars

No more pain for you

The pain in my heart

Will never heal

Until I see you again.

But we will meet in dreams

And until I join you in the clouds

You fill my every thought.

There will be no need for sorrow

A dying warrior's last wish
