Hayes and I had been friends for basically our whole lifes. Lets just say over that time its really hard not to develop strong feelings for someone,especially him, but to Hayes I'm practically a baby sister. It wasnt hard for me to loose myself inthe idea that I could love that kid though I refused to act on it . Who knows how Hayes would react . Hopefully I won't have to figure out ,because Ive got no courage to tell him ...
Johnnie: Hey y/n Liz is freaking out cause she ran out of stuff she needs for dinner and the boys and i are in the forest. would you mind getting some?
Re-Johnnie : Of course. Ill head out rn send me what she needs .
I grabbed my things heading out to the store gathering everything Elizabeth needed. I stepped inside the farm house greeted by a hyper Skylynn,Stoney and Zan. I laughed picking Sky up in one arm with groceries in the other.
"Y/N!!!! I missed youuu" sky grinned wrapping her arms around my neck.
"Hey munchkin i missed you too! Hey Elizabeth! " i smiled brightly as i skipped into the kitchen setting sky and thw bags on the counter . I grabbed the stuff she needed and threw away the bags.
" Thank you so much Y/N "Liz smiled hugging you with one arm
"No problem, besides I havent seen Hayes or Tez or even Sky in a really long time " I smiled helping Elizabeth make dinner.
"You staying for dinner love? Im sure everyone would love to see you " She glanced as she chopped vegtables.
" Yeah sure! Ill just text Mom when we're done. Shes on a business trip but just to let her know where i am . "
**1 and a half hours later **
The boys came in to the kitchen laughing and smiling . Hayes eyes widen when he saw me along with his smile.
"Y/n?? Oh my god " he hugged me tightly while smiling
"Hey dork" I laughed as he picked me up.
"Puberty hit you hard " hayes joked while looking at me .
" Oh I know that you " i smirked messing with his hair earning a small whin before he chuckled. " You look good too"
" Thanks, so what you soing here?" he smiled leaning down to pet Zan , still staring at me .
"I came to help Liz with dinner"
.....
We laughed through dinner talking like crazy and catching up with the past couple years works .
