Back story: Hayes and Sabrina grew up together and were the best of friends. Hayes became a very dark guy, head of a gang... The most wanted Man around the work.. She stood atop the gang the two of them had started together hand in hand, until hayes flipped. There was an unspoken vibe between her and Hayes but She had kissed one of the new members of the gang. Hayes was too quick to kill the guy and cut Sabrina off from the gang completely. She had had zero contact with Hayes or the rest of the gang for two whole years....until tonight.
—Sabrina's POV —
"Mr.Zeilar will see you now Miss Marsh" the secretary spoke softly and nodded while letting me open the large metals doors that lead to a thin dimmed hallway. At the end of the hallway was a pair of green double doors with s a small signal pad. As I finished tapping the board the doors swung open to see the short plump man everyone knew as Mr. Zeilar.

"Ahh Miss Marsh! Pleasure to see you here today!" Mr Zeilar started as he walked back to her desk under the large window over looking the gloomy lake  behind the house. "I have a fairly simple request today"

My gaze fell to the small gold edged paper under his finger tips while they slid across the table to me.
A death request.
I flashed a small smirked and nodded to Mr.Zeilar " Always a pleasure Sir " i picked up the thin slip of paper and examined the name engraved in finely curved gold lettering "Hayes Grier" my voice was clearly taut as I let the words slip off my lips.

" Sources inform me that he will be at the Kanu Warehouse.... Finish him " Mr Zeilar nodded and dismissed me.

As I stood walking out the small paper in my hand was slowly crumbling. I'm killing Hayes Grier. I'm killing the man i has stood next to for so many years... This is what has to happen.

I pulled up to the old warehouse stepping through the pebbles and weeds in heels. I quickly double checked I had everything I needed on me as I entered dangerous territory. I slipped through the wooden door ignoring the sudden musty darkness over taking the majority of my senses. A chilling late night breeze whipped through the echoing silence surround me. The only light were the Flashes of the moonlight cracking through the shattered warehouse window behind me. And that's when I heard it. The familiar echoing clicks of uselessly expensive shoes hitting the cold hard cement flooring. The slightest shadows of three men swirled around the dim eerie lighting. I braced myself carefully standing my feet shoulder width apart my left foot infront and my hand placed on my hip. Easy access to my gun under the edge of my skirt. Twenty feet in front of me two of the figures stood back in the shadows a glossy mask over their true identities. The third figure stood their head head low letting their wide brimmed hat conceal their identity but it was almost too easily to tell, that was Hayes.
He clapped slowly as he looked up from the ground letting me finally examine his movements.

"Sabrina..." Hearing my name on hayes' lips brought back millions of memories an aching inside me wished to allow myself to dismiss the memories as bad times but It was impossible... "What are you doing here?" A cold harsh chuckle danced through the heat of his breath cutting through the spine chilling winter wind.

"Well you see" I started and stepped forward slightly and fixed my hair slightly "I came to kill you. Nothing personal" I smirked and let my gaze meet hayes' ice cold view. His eyes had a darken Smokey glaze despite the natural bright blue eyes i had seen as a child.

" Aw that's too bad sweetheart. Frankly I didn't come tonight just to die" Hayes' eyes darted around slightly as he walked up holding his hand out.

" things don't always work out the way you plan Grier" i grabbed his hand spinning him around to pin him against the wall.

"Oh Mami learned a thing or two from me didnt she" The smirk on Hayes lips was clearly heard through the howling silence.

More memories of hayes and I flooded my mind. His cold finger tips running up and down my waist and his hot breath would be pressed against my neck as his lips left their marks along my skin.

"I saw that Sabrina. You're not as tough as you let on" I felt hayes shift underneath me shaking me from my thoughts. I twisted the fist full of his shirt and I raised my fist and let the pressure release as my knuckles met his facial bone structure. One struck to the brow. Strike two the nose. Strike three to the jaw. And repeat.

I couldn't do it. This was my job. I've killed hundreds of people but killing Hayes... I couldn't do manage to build the will power enough to reach for any of my weapons. The blade on my thigh, the gun on my waist, the other gun in my jacket, not even the gun in my garters. Hayes on the only hand seemed to have snapped as he grabbed my shoulders pushing me down into the cement underneath his entire body weight.

" You aren't the only one with blood on their mind tonight Sabrina. In fact your blood was the exact blood I had in mind to spill tonight." He spun his signature knife around his fingers pressing it edge against my jaw. I willed a flash of determination to go through my eyes trying to egg Hayes on to drag this out. Something here wasn't right "What do you have to say Marsh"

"Who sent you after me?" I muttered locking eyes with Hayes as his grip on my shoulder fluttered before tightening.

"Zeilar" he voice had some odd hissed demand in his words "Zeilar sent me" He let go and handed a paper just like mine but instead of the words 'Hayes Grier' my name 'Sabrina Marsh' was engraved in the thin curved gold lettering.

I waved mine in the air his eyes scanning over the letters that spelt out his name "He sent us to kill eachother... His weird entertainment." I licked my lips and picked up a small pebble tossing it.

"Hell fucking no" hayes thundered as he spun on his heels towards the two masked men still standing in the shadows. Hayes ripped the mask off the men, his whole demeanor became slightly demonic as he grabbed a phone off the taller blonde man. Hunter smiled at me.

"Let's go boys" hayes grumbled as he grabbed one of the guns from Hunter. ( sorry to ruin the vibe but when I read let's go boys I read it in a Barbie voice... yup you're welcome)

"I'm coming." My heart raced with adrenaline as I followed hayes, Hunter, and Marcus through the warehouse. I jumped slightly as Hayes slung his arm over my shoulder .

"Wouldn't have it any other way Sabrina. Killing the man who tried to get us to kill eachother. What a bonding experience" We both laughed as he opened the door to his tinted Mercedes Benz.

Just like the old days Hayes slid in and Jordan ( his driver) started the car up.

" How you been Marsh?" Hayes licked his lip and turned to face me as we drove down the back streets.

"Killing for a living is quite exhilarating" I let a small laugh out as I look at hayes softly as an attempt to get him to relax.
The truth is I missed hayes and I hated the fact that I missed him. I hated the fact I couldn't hate him.

And most of all I wish I could hate the way his hand felt on my thigh as we drove to Mr. Zeilar's estate.
