Ivy's POV
"...up, Ivy." I heard "Get up."
I groaned as I tried opening my eyes. It wasn't as easy as that. I couldn't sleep well last night cake I kept thinking.
"Ivy!" The person yelled
"I'm up, I'm up" I said forcing my eyes open, I sat upright
I heard a giggle and I smiled
"You little scoundrel" I said when I saw him " You hate me, don't you" I pulled him closed to me
He smiled at me
"What did you bring for me?" He asked"What do you have for me?" I asked
He giggled again and kissed my cheek
"I missed you Ivy" he said"I missed you too" I kissed his whole face
"Stop! Stop!" He said between giggles
"Fine" I stopped, getting out of the bed I went to the chair and removed something from the duffel bag.
He was watching me like a hawk the whole time. I went back to him.
"Here" I gave him
He peeled the cover and gasps when he saw the gift
"No way" he said in awe"Yes way" I said
"This is the latest sports car" he said
"I know" I said "Sounds as if you just got your first real car"
He gave me a look that said "as-if?"
"Just don't go telling mum and dad, alright?" I said
He nodded
"Thank you soo much Ivy" he hugged"Hey, that's all I could do for missing your birthday" I said
He pulled back
"You should miss it more"I laughed as he ran out of my room screaming Ian's name.
I shook my head.
I was downstairs later in the evening.
"When's the graduation?" Dad asked during dinner
"Next Friday" I said
"When do you wanna go to the office?" Mum asked
"Monday" I said after swallowing
"Ivy?" Thomas called
"Yes?" I smiled at him
"Ian says Iva's gonna be home for your graduation" he said gladly
"No Thomas" Ian said "I said she's gonna be there for her graduation. She's coming for it and going straight to school from there"
"So she's not coming home" he said to himself
"Have you talked to Luke since..." dad began
"Oh I forgot" I said "I have to call him" I got up
"Finish your dinner honey" mum said
"I'm okay mum" I took my plate and went to the kitchen. I dialled Luke's phone as I placed my plate in the sink
"Hey best friend" he answered on the fourth ring
"You can just say 'Hey Ivy', everyone knows I'm your best friend" I said
"Except someone who's hard to get" he said sadly
I sighed
"Jessica" I said "She's there?"
