Fantastic (Newt Scamander X Reader)

Danger

Emerging from the case, JAcob, Newt and I are greeted with a male voice with a british accent, "Scamander?" The voice questions.

Newt, closing the case, answers, "Oh-er-hello, Minister." I gulp and stand by Jacob, nervously.

People talk, thinking Newt is his brother which causes a slight uproar. Madam Piquery asks Tina, "Goldstein--and who are these?" She addresses me and Jacob.

"This is Jacob Kowalski, Madam President, he's a No-Maj who got bitten by one of Mr. Scamander's creatures, and this is (Y/n) (L/n), a dragon trainer who's helping Newt collect his beasts."

"No-Maj? Obliviated?" I stand by while chaos seems to ensue. Newt; however, is to focused on the projection, in which he explains wasn't done by one of his beasts, yet he does know of the creature who created the markings on the man's face, and killed the man. An Obscurus.

Madam President, not wishing to put fear into anyone's heart, says there is no Obscurus in America--which she is wrong, and Graves then takes Newt's case next to him.

Flustered, and scared for his creatures, Newt speaks up, "No... Give that b-!" He gets cut off.

"Arrest them!" My eyes widen, and my immediate thought was to get out, yet I didn't as I didn't want to leave Newt alone. We are struck with spells, then fall to our knees, our wands forcibly removed from us.

"No-no-don't hurt those creatures-please, you don't understand-nothing in there is dangerous, nothing!" Newt cries out.

"We'll be the judges of that! Take them to the cells!" In a rush, we get dragged away. I bit my lip, trying not to cry. Why was this happening, we had done nothing wrong!

Beside me, Newt continued screaming desperately, "Don't hurt those creatures-there is nothing in there that is dangerous. Please don't hurt my creatures-they are not dangerous... Please, they are not dangerous!" Newt's desperate cries only made me want to burst out into tears as I was taken away to a cell.

We all sit in silence, until Tina breaks it, "I am so sorry about your creatures, Mr. Scamander. I truly am-"

Newt was silent, yet I wasn't, "Then why did you turn us in!" I was frustrated. I knew how Newt felt, if someone were to take my dragons away. Tina stayed silent, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to yell. I just-you should have thought about it more, Ms. Goldstein." She nodded, understanding my anger, and seeming to accept my apology.

Jacob breaks the new tension I added, as he asks what an Obscurus is. Newt and Tina explain, yet I am lost in thought. I still had my dragons! Maybe I could-

My thoughts get interrupted, as we all get taken by two people in white coats, who lead us to a dark basement. Newt, think it would be his final words to Jacob, speaks, "It was good to make your acquaintance, Jacob, and I hope you get your bakery. Jacob waves as we are forced away.

Each of us soon got seperated into an interrogation room. "Ms. (L/n), you seem to have gotten yourself caught up with the wrong sorts of people, you should have just stuck to the dragons, I say." Spoke some interrogator. I looked up, glared at the person, "Did you know what that Newt had in his case?"

"A world of wonder and lovely creatures-"

"He had an Obscurus."

"Why should I care. I've taken care creatures more dangerous than his dormant Obscurus! The creature is harmless now-" I got slapped, and harshly told to shut up.

"Do you know what's going to happen to you?" I stayed silent, "You sure are in for a treat than." His demeanor turned dark, as he called for people to once again take me somewhere I didn't know of. There stood Tina and Newt.

I knew what was coming next, and I was terrified.
