The man who created my happiest memory also created the memory I wished I'd never had.

He was once a warm and kind hearted man in my mind, yet he turned cruel and dark. I had learned he lied to me, he put on a show to seem like the good guy so I could be like him one day. He manipulated me.

I stood in the stairs, tears filling my eyes as I saw his thirst for power finally take over. His once clear blue eyes filled with darkness, hate. I tried to shout, to get him to stop, but to no avail.

He screamed back. Told me to shut up, to stay where I was. I obeyed.

More hot tears filled my eyes as I watched the wand in my fathers hand created a lightning shaped figure in the air, green light clouded my blurred vision, and the words every prays to never hear went through my ears, "Avada Kedavra!" I knew then he was lost from me, forever.

"Father, why?" I scream, a wet and angry voice filling the air.

He turned, faced me, the smiled before saying, "I will see you again," until apparating away. I forced myself up, my legs unwilling, yet going quickly to the lifeless body on the living room floor.

I cried, tears falling onto her once beautiful life, the beauty stripped away from her against her wishes. I hugged her, wishing to feel her warmth at east one more time before she went forever cold.

I took my wand and transformed her clothing to her favorite white dress as her hair and hands filled with beautiful flowers from our garden.

I held her body close as I tried to apparate myself to MACUSA, but I failed.

Glumly, I walked myself over to the fireplace and used floo powder to arrive at MACUSA. Tear stained and dirty, I ran to someone, pleading for help. For someone to follow.

I was met with astonished faces, a 15 year old who looked like she'd been in a fight with dear just told the Aurors that her father used the killing curse on her mother for power.

She spoke of a man evil enough t kill simply because his wife upset him and he lust for more power. Yet she spoke calmly and direct; although, tears had been falling down her face.

As I lead everyone to my home, shock was apparent on their faces. Upon seeing my mother, everyone realized who I was yet dared not to speak my last name.

From that fay forth, I took on my mothers maiden name and stayed with my aunt during the summers.

I awaited the day I would see my father again do I could hurt him the way he hurt me; though, that would be just what he wanted.

I vowed to never become like him. When I saw him again, the most I knew I would do is punch him in the face, and tell him,

"I never loved you."
