A/n: Off to DC for the inauguration! That's why my updates are so spaced, it's so I'm not gone for to long.

I was forced into a chair, where right underneath was a pool of silver. I knew what was coming, I knew my destiny.

I watched as the pool showed my happiest memory, one that I refused to ever think of again.

"Dad! Dad! Teach me how to do it again!" I jumped up and down, tugging on my dad's coat. I was much smaller than him, and my small hand could barely hold the corner of the coat I had taken. I took in my fathers features one more time, knowing how I'd rarely see him as I grew.

I took in is smile, and I knew my mother had once been in love with him, it had not only been for his power. My father was attractive when he was young, yet I had no clue what he looked like now.

I took in my small frame, a light blue dress beautifully fitting the spring day, as I stood surrounded by flowers.

My father smiled at me, nodding, and pulling out his wand. "Swish, and flick," he said, then preformed the levitation spell. I remembered so clearly how amazed I was by his magic, how excited I was to learn magic for myself.

I then remembered why my father had explained to me that the reason is American wizards learned how to do silent spells was so we could be safe among those who ridicule magic, the evil no-majes. He taught me the lesson to hate those who had no magic, as his grandfather was nearly burned by those who didn't know the truth of us magical beings.

I looked at my father in awe as he made the logs that had been recently chopped float. I had a smile on my face that I would never have again, it was a smile that showed pride in my father. I could never have pride in him.

"When will I get to do that?" My voice was still mine, but childish, quiet, high. I missed the days where I could be so innocent.

I looked into his blue eyes with love. "Soon-"

"(Y/N)" Newt screamed. I looked up at him, tears falling down my cheek. I focused on the world around me and not on the memory.

The next thing I knew, I was on the ground, running along side Newt and Tina.

A/n: I know it's short but I'm busy and can't write much I'm so sorry. However, we get more hints on readers past!
