New message from Tyler (34).

Josh's jaw clenched, and he shut off his phone again. He redirected his attention to the TV, shoving another spoonful of cookies & cream ice cream into his mouth.

New message from Tyler (35).

Josh ignored his phone, gaze staying glued to the Sherlock episode that was playing. He'd actually watched all three seasons four times already, but you could never get tired of the charismatic man that was Sherlock Holmes (and Benedict Cumberbatch).

New message from Tyler (36).

"Oh, c'mon!" Josh complained, rolling his eyes at the obvious tension between John and Sherlock. "Just fuck already," he grumbled.

New message from Tyler (37).

Finally growing tired of the incessant pings, Josh grabbed his phone and unlocked it. He was bombarded with tons of messages.

Tyler

i'm so sorry, please let me explain.

Tyler

it's not what you think, josh.

Tyler

please text me back.

Tyler

or call me, i don't care. please, i want to explain.

On and on, the texts came. They all basically said the same: forgive me, I want to explain. Stupid, charismatic man. When a little drop of water fell onto his phone screen, Josh realized he was crying and angrily wiped away the tears.

Me

stop bothering me. i don't want to hear your stupid explanations.

Josh was now realizing that he had gotten far too comfortable with the rich man. He had known that, as soon as Tyler had given him that compliment, he was screwed. He should've listened to everybody's warnings, and could've saved himself this stupid heartbreak.

Tossing his phone to the side, Josh returned to his episode. It was during the part where John finds out Mary's past, when she's tricked into saying everything. As exaggerated as it was, it reminded Josh of his current situation; he found out about a dark secret from Tyler, and now he had to decide if he wants to forgive Tyler or ignore him for the rest of his life. Frowning, Josh skipped to the episode where John and Mary are getting married, and settled back into the couch, wrapping his blanket tighter around him.

He ate another scoop of ice cream, smiling a little at Sherlock's tales. However, at the end of the episode, when Sherlock is left alone and even the woman that had seemed interested in him leaves him for another man, Josh's mood dropped again.

Exasperated, Josh switched to Supernatural. He skipped over to the fourth season, planning on screaming over Destiel instead of Johnlock this time.

His plans were interrupted by a text from Audrey.

A

Me

if it has to do with Tyler Joseph getting me in his bed and then me finding out that he has a wife, then it's true.

"I'm home!" Audrey screeched at the top of her lungs.

"Hey," Josh mumbled in a quiet voice, twisting around to see his best friend.

The girl walked into the room, took in Josh's disheveled appearance (baggy hoodie, sweatpants, tub of ice cream) and sighed. She set her suitcase down, opened it, pulled out a long hoodie, and began stripping down in the living room. Josh watched her, not at all affected because Audrey did this all the time when she was too lazy to go to her room (which was less than ten feet away).

Stripped down to her panties and bra, Audrey pulled on the long hoodie and walked over to the couch. "Move." She ordered, and Josh shifted over.

"Aren't bras uncomfortable? I mean, you have a stiff piece of cloth holding two balls of fat down from flying all over the place." Josh laid down, head on his best friend's lap.

"Well, sports bras aren't." Audrey shrugged. "You get kind of used to them."

"Oh." Josh turned his attention back to the TV. Audrey began to run her hands through Josh's hair absentmindedly, brushing back the light blue hair. The movement was soothing, and after the many tears that Josh had spilled, it lulled him to sleep.

He sighed softly, and his eyes closed, falling into a peaceful nap.
