Upon seeing the text, Josh smiled, ignoring the butterflies in his stomach that came to life anytime he so much as thought about Tyler.

Josh had 10 hours to kill before the date, so he decided that going back to bed would be a good way to pass the time.

After waking up again, Josh noticed that he had five hours left, so he got up and went to go eat breakfast (even though it was way past noon). Audrey was nowhere to be seen, probably at work, and Josh mentally cheered that he always got Thursdays free, at his work. His boss was a very laid-back woman, and she insisted that her employees always got a day off to alleviate stress and such.

Josh ate a bowl of cereal while watching some movie that was being played on TV, and by the time the movie finished, Josh had three hours left. He decided that he might as well take a shower now, to be able to spend a lot of time in there. Long, hot showers were the best.

Eventually, Josh finished showering, and he had two hours of time left. He began to get ready, pulling on a pair of jeans and a grey t-shirt, one that molded to his body nicely.

By then, Audrey arrived home. "Where are you going?" She asked when she saw Josh fussing over his look.

"Um... Just with some friends," Josh lied, because he found that he didn't want Audrey knowing where he was going to be. Something told him that she would try to convince him out of it.

"Oh." Audrey said, all of a sudden not as suspicious now. "Well, I have to start packing today. My mom expects me at her place by Saturday."

"I can't believe you're going away for two weeks." Josh grumbled, finally giving up on his image.

"My mom wants to spend family time together," Audrey shrugged in a what-can-ya-do? manner.

"A, promise me that you won't hook up over the course of your family quality time." Josh said in a begging way. "It'll be time you spend with your family, right?"

The girl snorted. "You are so naive, Joshua."

"You cannot possibly be serious. How about you stop screwing every attractive man you see and just like... wait for the good man to come along, or something?" Josh huffed.
