Tyler stepped out of the car, but Josh stayed back for a little bit. He wanted to think through his choices. He could: go in with Tyler and do whatever the brunette wanted or tell Tyler that he wasn't comfortable here and wanted to go home. Josh's gaze fell to the baby blue collar, and more specifically to the tag.
He kind of wanted this.
Josh pursed his lips, and he stepped out of the car. He found it hilarious how Josh had originally hated Tyler when they first met, and now he was going willingly with Tyler to do who-knows-what.
Tyler glanced over at him, questioning look in his eyes. Josh simply smiled at him and walked in by his side, ignoring the looks of people. At one point, Tyler had to stop to talk to some business partner, off to the side. It just so happened that that business partner had brought his girlfriend along, and she was giving Josh a curious, interested look.
"You have a dog?" She motioned to the collar.
Josh stared at her for a second, and he almost laughed. "No," he said instead.
The girl blinked, and a confused look appeared. She looked at the collar again, but before she could figure it out, Tyler finished talking to the other guy and the girl went off. Tyler placed a hand on Josh's lower back, guiding him to the elevator.
"What was that about?" Tyler asked, referring to the girl and his conversation.
"She wanted to know if I had a dog," Josh responded, holding back a smile.
Tyler chuckled, and he pressed the button to the fifth floor. A nervous feeling bloomed in the pit of Josh's stomach, and his grip tightened on the collar. The ride was short, it felt shorter than usual, and the doors opened to Tyler's home.
The brunette glanced over at Josh, expectantly, so Josh stepped forward first, hesitantly.
"Come over here," Tyler said softly, hand on Josh's lower back again. He guided Josh down the hall on his right, all the way down to the last room. The two stopped, and Tyler looked at Josh. Without taking his gaze off the blue-haired man, Tyler opened the door. Josh's eyes widened as he took in the huge room, overwhelmed with all the sights.
"Oh, my God, you're literally Christian Grey." Josh blurted out.
Tyler laughed quietly, and he leaned against the door frame. "You can go inside, if you want."
Josh fidgeted for a second, before walking in slowly. First, he decided to take in the least shocking parts of the room. The walls were red, mostly, with black stripes running across the top part of the walls. The ceiling was red too, and the floor was a soft, plush white carpet. Pushed off to one wall, a huge bed with red (surprise, surprise) covers. There were several soft-looking pillows.
Josh then turned to look at the more . . . surprising parts of the room. Actually, the most he looked at was the 'impressive' collection of whips, handcuffs, and collars. The rest looked too painful or weird, so Josh didn't even acknowledge those. He turned to look at Tyler, who was watching him from the door.
"So am I Anastasia Steele?" Josh tilted his head.
Tyler laughed again. "You seem to know a lot about Fifty Shades of Grey."
"Well, I did buy that book for you. You also gave me the movie." Josh shrugged, turning to examine the room again.
Tyler fell silent for a second. "So . . . what do you think?" He finally said.
Josh bit his lower lip, chewing over his options. "What if I get uncomfortable?"
"We'll stop right away. I'll give you a safe word." Tyler answered.
Josh ran a hand through his hair, and he glanced at the more intimidating looking things in the room.
Tyler noticed and said, "We won't do anything you aren't comfortable with, Josh."
The blue-haired man wrapped his arms around himself, collar jingling in his hand. He couldn't believe he was actually considering Tyler's offer. To be honest, it didn't really sound so bad. Having Tyler be in control, knowing exactly where to touch Josh to make him fall apart, unravel every thread holding Josh together . . .
Josh felt his face heat up, realizing that he really wanted this. He looked down at the collar in his hands, then over at Tyler. The billionaire was expressionless, simply waiting for Josh's decision.
Josh held the collar in his hands, before lifting it to his neck and snapping it on. It was snug, not too tight but not too loose. It was really just like those choker things he always saw Audrey wearing (he had tried one on a few months ago, even wore it for a day, as a result from a dare form his roommate).
"Okay," Josh said finally. He turned to Tyler. "Let's see what you can do, Mr. Joseph."
